I failed my road test three times, same location as you, Staten Island. I am very sad and disapointed. I sorta gave up, imagine taking three road test and failed. It hurts me very much, I am usually not a person who fails a lot in life but the road test is the only thing where I failed multiple times, I really don't want to take it anymore. I am happy that you got it the second try!

just want to share it with you and today I passed my road test, I thought i failed beacuse at the end the examiner keeps lecturing me, and then I said sorry and patted on her shoulder and said you are a very kind lady, and that I learned alot of things from her. after that she passed me, asked me to sign the receipt, I was so happy, I think It was all luck, really if it wasn't for luck I wouldn't have passed today. Miracle does happen people if anyone is reading this!

hi,sad to heared that u failed 3 times to ur road test,i know what u feel its natural u feel sad and disapointed...hope nothing happen 2me failed how many times..my road test is next saturday..hope im pass, driving on the road is easy for me.only im worry alot about manueverabilty test.try again take road test, maybe 1 day u can make it.

@johncchc88 I know it's really disappointing, but you have to keep trying. The feeling of passing is worth the trouble. Keep practicing until you know more and more what to do. I failed my first time and was so disappointed that I didn't drive for 3 years after. But I eventually got behind the wheel again and passed my road test last week! Don't give up. My advice is get a new instructor. It's most likely not your fault. If you were taught improperly, it's impossible to pass. You need to be taught proper and safe driving techniques. Someone passing on their bad habits to you will not work.

Thanks for the video, it actually helped. Passed today in Whitestone Queens. Maybe you should open up a driving school. My advice to everyone about to take it. Do some yoga before the test, visualize doing everything right and focus on breathing deeply. Approach the test like and athlete before a game. I got 20 points, for not checking blind spot, turning too slow, and not driving close enough to the left side during a left hand turn.

Just go to a driving school and they set everything up for you and give you a car. You can get a road test in about 5 weeks, maybe less. Take lessons.

I watched your video a couple of times before i left...just like you said, the key is not to let your nerves get the best of you. Another good one is to try to have a small conversation with the examiner as it helps ease the tension...but if you really want to look good, try saying everything you do, "Approaching stop sign. One, Two, Three.." or "signaling for left/right turn", because the examiner needs to know if you are paying attention at all times.

yea, everything you said does help. My examiner, was a rare one, really nice, and he started the "small conversation" to help calm my nerves, which helped. I passed and got my license 1st try, which is kewl as shit. he said i missed a signal...idk where i was pretty sure i got all of them...anyway i passed. this was about 2 or 3 weeks ago, maybe 4 bc it was october 21

haha nice video. lol i loved when your daughter said "i got my crayons" lmao. so cutee. my road test is wednesday and im really really nervous. mostly about parallel parking. im good at it but im just afraid of hitting the curb and getting failed or getting a dick head of an instructor haha.

i took 2 hour class the same day as my road test and the instructor showed me the best trick at parallel parking it totally worked and until now im using that trick.

first of all its all about the right side mirrors u have to adjust it so u can see the cirb and the road better.and than the trick is no matter what u do when u r 45% angle to the cirb it has to look like a V shape like a triangle and than u start turning ur weel to the left and back up u will smoothly park w/out hitting the cirb and than ajdust back and forth so u will have space in front and back equally.
