Thanks for posting this. We got our 4 cats as rescues and they are wonderful. Already donating money to a homeless animal group on Ebay when I buy too. Videos like this go a ways toward raising awareness of it, too many morons think it cruel to spay or neuter their animals due to "macho" reasons.

@darkmagickian o wow that s great that is wonderful I wish could do things 2 help and have more animals only have 2 dogs and my parents just complain about those 2 and my dad won't let us hae cats he thinks they r useless so I am not understood in my family and my dream is 2 open my own no kill animal shelter and instead of jusy rescung animals and finding them homes just in the state where I live I want 2 b able 2 rescue and find homes 4 animals around the world but idk how 2 even start

@WorLdLeaderX yeah they r cute but it is sad because of all the torture and abuse so many animals have 2 go thro it makes me cry o how I wish I could do something my dream has always been 2 open my own no kill animal santuary 4 any kind of animal but as much as I would love 4 that dream 2 come true it never will.

U r so right that is so true it is 1 thing 2 buy rather than adopt and also at the pet store it is only helping keep the puppy mills around and things like that r bad some pet stores sell sick animals so yes every1 should adopt from a shelter b4 it is 2 late 4 a lovely animal they all deserve 2 b in a happy home.

O cool a friend of mine and I have always talked about going out and raising money 4 animal shelters but all the 1's we live near won't let 4 some reason they don't except donations so since u r raising money would u like help with that because my friends and I would love 2 help and I am sure we could get some other ppl 2 help out as well.

@SoraXRoxasLover You must know how to run a business because that's what it is. Search online for "Business Start-Up" articles as well as "How to Start A Non-Profit." Research as much as you can. It's wonderful to love and support animals, but to be successful you must do your homework first.

well at least u can rescue some kind of animal from cruelty I feel totally helpless because I can't vounteer at shelters or foster because I am disabled and the cages r either 2 low or 2 high and my parents won't let me foster and I can't donate because my parents wouldn't let me and I don't have a job 2 donate any money so u r doing so much more than I am just keep birds in ur life there is always a bird who needs a loving home maybe u can start a bird santuary 1 day when u r older with ur dad.

Thanx I totally agree with u I have 2 dogs I got from shelters but no cats because my dad don't like cats I wish I could do more I watch animal planet on tv all of the time and sometimes when I think of all of the horrible things animals get put thro 4 no reason at it makes me so upset I just want 2 cry it makes me so upset there is so much I wish I could do.

My Mom's dog Dewy was a rescue. His old owners neglected him and abused him. The kennel we took our other dog, Hawkeye, found him and took him away from them, and since he and Hawkeye are both Black Labs, they thought we would be a good family for him. We still have Dewy-Dog, and he is happy and healthy. I wish the same for these animals.

I agree and you are doing a good thing especiallly for dewy taking him from his abusive owners do you still have hawkeye and how do they get along and did hawkeye find him and how did he take him away from them what did he do he must be a very smart dog like all animals are.

1. Yes

2. They get along great

3. No, the people at the kennel found him

4. They told his old owners that if they did not give him to them, they would call animal control

5. He was timid at first, especialy around men, but he's a lot better now and loves to be petted by just about anyone

6. Smart... Um... Sometimes... Not always. He's in the way alot, but we love him anyways
