It's a torluah on C... g gracenote to C, close the chanter, D gracenote, then E gracenote back to C...all in smooth succession to eachother. That's the trademark note in piping, so everyone should know it.

i don't have the sheet music, but have a clann an drumma cd that has is on it. After listening to the cd over and over, i was able to play it by ear, it is not many notes, so give it a try until you can locate the music.
As a retired Sgt. and Viet Nam Vet I will request that both "Sgt. Mackenzie" and "My Home is in the Highlands to be played." I have the privilige to be interned at the National Cemetery in Tacoma,Wa.Great poem and very nicely done on th' pipes kind sir. Warchild!
Always stiring. I am off to afghanistan (RC South) very soon and have recently made out my will. This is the song I would like played on the pipes for my funeral.
Could you please give me a copy of the sheet music!

What is that grace note at 10 seconds and like 22 seconds? There is a lot of echo and I can't make it out if that's a G or a burrel or what it is.

Great choice. Here's hoping that that will occur several months after your unit's 60th reunion.

Beautiful, that is a sad sad tune, played very well. I like the echo effect in the recording. Well done.
