His solo at 2:30 to 3:00 in this song is strong. The only thing that can make you write a part like that is if you are thinking about something that happen in your life.

if you were growing up in this era then you were extremely blessed as i was. There was so much new and original music in every genre here and abroad. It was a magical time and most of the music was about being Uplifted, Loving and Positive".
Right on. And he's back with a new release and is touring! I can't think of a better time than now to resuscitate the music scene with genuine integrity and actual creativity ;)
This is a fantastic piece of music. The brotha is right, that this piece of music reminds me when I was growing up in Detroit Michigan back in the day. George Duke is a great musician. His very creative approach to his instrument which is first and foremost is the Piano. And of course all the syth's you can thank of. Duke is up there with some of the best keyboard kats out there. Tom Schman, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, etc.
THis is one of my favorite tunes it reminds me of the day's when I was growing up back in Detroit wow it dose it every time Duke happens to one of my favorite artist . this is real music . i cant say enough about it . George Duke you are the man....... Lonnie " Tha 1" motley

I found it on a collection of all his MPS recordings called 'My Soul: The Complete MPS collection'; it's like £30 but worth every penny, otherwise I think they re-released it in Japan, you might be able to find it for a tenner on ebay.
Check out some early '70s Frank Zappa if you haven't heard it. George Duke was in his band for a few years. But I recommend all of Zappa's music, he was the greatest rock guitarist ever, and there is still no one better.
Yeah, my brother turned me on to Zappa back in the day and he was a serious guitarist, but I don't think people took him serious as a player, but he could "really" play.
Dreamy, floating, expansive.

Mi sono ricordato di avere questo disco. Studiavo i bongos usando questi pezzi per la base. Good Airto, perfect in percussion fill.
