Good overview. One important thing that needs mention is the political climate and leadership throughout the process. With the past mistakes of downtown neglect, it's important that we also ensure that the city provides the proper guidance in development without pandering to political correctness. With gentrification, there will also be backlash from the community that needs to be approriately addressed. Without strong leadership, Eli Broad's vision of L.A. could be questionable.
