I totally loved Tim and the Eye when they were doing island hopping in the Caribbean!!!! Does anyone know where I could find them? Does anyone sell'em?
@sebk78 No one sells them, sadly. They've never been made available. I have bits and bobs on video which I'm uploading when I have the time, but it doesn't include any Carribbean ones.
hi guilford ghost--i'm very sad because i didn't know tim had died until today--i could have sworn i checked out his website about six months ago--but it must have been a lot longer than that-- you know how time flies. anyway i liked all of tims shows, but the spanish ones were in the costa blanca area, my favourite part of spain--especially alicante, tim seemed to like it too. anyway, if you could put some up, that would be much appreciated. i'll keep my eye on this site anyway---cheers!
@bullysgod Would that someone be me? I do have some clips here and there from that particular journey. Thing is, I have hours and hours of clips from the show on videos all over the place and it's choosing which to upload, as it's a very time-consuming process. I have to burn a DVD via my TV and VCR, then put it in the PC and convert it to MPEG (ten minutes footage takes over an hour of processing), then edit and improve the clip in Windows Movie Maker, and then upload...
Please please please upload all you have!!! There are many who love and miss Tim, I havnt seen a re-run of Two's Country ever!!! Tim's genius should be on display for future generations to experience and enjoy.
@vinnyvangough I have hours and hours of these shows on VHS. Clearly, I need to upload more to YouTube in due course, though most are clips from shows rather than entire ones.
I was so sad to hear that Tim Grundy died. Me and my mum used to love watching Two's Country. We started watching from the first series, when the channel was called TLC, and watched them all until they ended. I wish they would repeat the first two series so I could watch then again. Thanks for posting!
I checked just after I made the post below and I was genuinely gutted. Tim and I exchanged a couple of letters about 10 years ago and I always held out a hope of one day meeting him. I absolutely loved TWO'S COUNTRY and lost count of the amount of episodes I saw. I probably still have about five or six hours of them on video. For me, that made my lunchtimes during a brief period of unemployment in 1999-2000 on Discovery H&L. I'm just glad it was sudden. RiP Tim.
Yay! Someone who shares my love of TWO'S COUNTRY! You've got me worried, though, by saying 'sadly missed'. I really, really hope you just mean the series and not Tim Grundy himself.
