Beck isn't the issue here. Nobody has disputed the authenticity of the emails, including the parties who "supposedly" typed them. So yes, they clearly DO equate evidence, of blatant fraud. We also have the facts that thousands of scientists totally reject man-made global warming as a valid theory, past global cooling and warming periods and the fact that the earth has been COOLING for ten years now. The person I was debating with, was saying that because plants use CO2, there is no limit to how much CO2 can be in the air. The more CO2 the better! I took it too extremes and asked a hypothetical question. And prefaced it "for the sake of argument." What if there was 100% CO2 in the atmosphere. Making a point that there is a limit to how much CO2 can be in the air. Yes, they would create oxygen.

Decline is referring to tree ring data which is often different to other measurments. Scientists often use 'tricks' to merge differing data sources. Not really a scandal hey... try RealClimate . org

The little "up-and-comers", the start ups - rarely survive such strangling regulations. Beck isn't the issue here. Nobody has disputed the authenticity of the emails, including the parties who "supposedly" typed them. So yes, they clearly DO equate evidence, of blatant fraud. We also have the facts that thousands of scientists totally reject man-made global warming as a valid theory, past global cooling and warming periods and the fact that the earth has been COOLING for ten years now. Global warming is a religion for leftists, and no facts will sway their zealous faith.

The emails show nothing of the sort - the decline refers to anomalous tree ring data and the 'trick' is about the difficulty of merging differing data from numerous observed and proxy data sets - no scandal there to undermine 40+ years of global scientific research. @Lsdfunk : Here is another one I haven't mentioned that plays into the equation. What about all the tree's we are cutting down? Doesn't that effect the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere? Less plants = more CO2. Then add power plants, billions of cars, etc.
That is why the "earth has always had radical shilfts naturally" argument is a bad one. If the climate ALREADY is volitile, without cutting down trees by thousands of acres a day and putting 90 millon tons of CO2 into the air a day...

Did you know the ice caps reflect radiation back into space. No ice caps = earth retains more heat. Less trees = more CO2. More CO2 + more greenhouse effect = more heat. More heat = more CO2 released into air. More heat = MORE CO2 in the air.

Water vapour makes up 95+% of the 'greenhouse gas' - while C02 makes up .117%. That's right, not even a fifth of one percent. &, Volcanoes release much more c02 than humans do. Fact! We need to abolish volcanoes, immediately! D:

That does not mean what if we release, lets say Y amount, it will not effect the climate. Add X and Y and then see what happens. We release something like 90 million tons a day.

If you look at the levels of both water vapor and CO2 and then take into account the different properties they have regarding the greenhouse effect.... water vapor accounts for 60% and CO2 accounts for 26% of the effect.

Volcanos contribute but not as much as we do: from the CO2 record from any of the dozens of sampling stations around the globe if individual volcanic eruptions dominated human emissions and were causing the rise in CO2 concentrations, then these CO2 records would be full of spikes -- one for each eruption. Such records show a smooth and regular trend.
The sum total of all CO2 out-gassed by active volcanoes amounts to about 1/150th of anthropogenic (human) emissions.

Okay finally you actually have a brain. CO2 follows temperature, meaning, CO2 has nothing to do with temperature rise of fall.
Lets say you heat up a Balloon filled with Co2, what happens? The level of Co2 expands, or gets sucked out of things, i.e. Oceans. If you were to cool the balloon, it actually shrinks and eventually even becomes a liquid, hence the Oceans again. Thus why it rains my son.

Decline is referring to tree ring data which is often different to other measurments. Scientists often use 'tricks' to merge differing data sources. Not really a scandal hey... try RealClimate . org

(Part 2) thinking I could make a difrence and as I just finished my electrical apprenticeship I had some spare time, I planted thousands of trees collected tones of Trash from beauty spots, we also put up hundreds of birdboxes and dugg out ponds, and done alot of work looking after these places, at the time I and my co-volunteers were receiving £1.20 per day as expenses, as I was becoming very much envolved in the whole Nature & ecology sceen I compleated a City&Guilds Course on horticulture.
