Xanadu on Broadway Review #2

My parents introduced me to this movie when I was about 9 years old or so. Now I'm 15, and I still love it. I wanted to see the broadway show so bad. Too bad it isn't on anymore. :(

I was 17 when the movie came out and dragged my poor future husband to see it several times (he actually married me later, anyway). I have seen it off and on over the years and now, at 47, I am DYING to see the Broadway version. I live in Missouri, however, so the likelihood isn't good unless I can swing a trip up north. You are so lucky! Agh!!! Thank you for the post. I'm eating my heart out. I wonder if I could drag hubbie to see the Broadway show??? Hm....

I was most impressed with the incredible, I assume yet undiscovered Curtis Holbrook, who played a muse before in X and the somehow stepped into the Sonny role a few weeks before I saw X (when the original actor bowed out for some reason). CH I read is from San Antonio--like me! rf

Saw it last night. I was hilarious! Loved it but don't think it will last more than a year. Need to be a child of the 80s to appreciate. Since I remember the original movie very well I thought it was fantastic!
