This is a beautiful tank, I too would be interested in your filtration. It runs so quiet. gosh it truly is beautiful. Best Tank I"ve seen on Youtube. I love how you left lots of space for swimming. And the fish are spectacular.
@mattwrightoz thanks for replying...grt tank....y dont u upload a movie of your system e.g., filtration, sump, skimmer, etc... which is running the tank explaining each part....it wud b grt to learn more abt urs best looiking tank i have seen....this will give info to me and others....many thanks
Neat. How does the emperor tang and the Wrasse not eat the coral? I thought they would go to town on it. Either way beautiful. Also, how many watts do you have in that system?
Hey Matt why didn't you go 100% natural sunlight in the end? Judging from the location of Lord Howe Island (which is so far south and still supports corals) I reckon you could have done it, as long as your sola tubes were north facing.
@FishyMoe Solatubes are on the east side of the house. Plus solatubes don't really add that WOW look to the corals so the T5's are there to do that along with add the extra punch thats needed when the sun doesnt want to show itself.
Hey ducati. Simply, theres holes in the roof with an acrylic top, sun travels down the reflecting tubing into the tank. 5 days of no sun? No problems, my T5 units are x2 ATI Powermodules (10x80w each) 1600w total.
Whats the tank size ?

Wonderful tank! excellent array of fish too, super colorful and varied. I love it when the fish have plenty of space to roam like that.
