@DelijaCG they were no "main characters" in Capcom's Street Fighter 2, in the early 90's. I actually played the game back then. The character was whoever you picked. Then you went around the world fighting them in order. The last 2 people to fight in the game was Sagat in Thailand then the boss fight was against M. Bison, if you could beat him. You won the game.

Well, Street Fighter was supposed, to be a Multi-Billion dollar feature film from Universal Pictures but, they hired bad directors and Steven E. DeSouza wasn't that experienced at directing as he was screenwriting. He was better at doing his 1994 film than Andrez Barkowiak directing, Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chunli. TheMechanic11 there will be sequels to Legend Of Chunli man.
Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat from 1994 and 1995 were the best video game films of the 1990's. Street Fighter was nominated, for a Saturn Award nomination from Raul Julia playing a blockbuster hardcore Warlord M. Bison. Jean-Claude Van Damme was cool, action-packed and explosive as Guile. Mortal Kombat I bet also, received Saturn Award Chris Lambert and Cary H. Tagawa were phenomenal Raiden and Shang Tsung. Robin Shouw was also, great as Liu Kang.
Street Fighter The Movie in 1994 made like, Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie would have sent the movie too the Academy Award/ Oscars in the following year of 1995. Perhaps, we will get a rebooted Street Fighter film with Ryu and Ken leading characters in the film. There friends of course, are Colonel Guile, Chunli Zang of Interpole and the other World Warriors. The enemy of course, is General M. Bison of Shadowlaw plotting to conquer the world.

I'll be honest people I enjoy the film. I enjoy it as a good old 90's Jean Claude Van Damme action film. I don't watch it for Academy Award winning performances and writing, I just watch it for fun. And even if you hate it you've got to admit that Raul Julia was great in this.
I have Street Fighter on Standard DVD as a Collector's Edition and the DVD movie has both, the teaser trailer and theatrical trailer. This movie was one of Raul Julia's and Jean-Claude Van Damme's finest films. Raul's other was The Addams Family film series and JCVD's was "The Quest". Street Fighter could have been an Academy Award winning film with a fantastic director, writers and producers. Street Fighter did receive a Saturn Nomination for Raul Julia's role as General M. Bison.

My older Brother is a fan of the "Street Fighter" games, but he won't buy this movie because he dosen't like Jaun Claude Van Damme, in fact he actually likes "Legend of Chun-Li" better. I personally love this movie.

Tell your older brother he made a huge mistake there is no way Street Fighter: The Legend Chunli is better than the 1994 blockbuster "Street Fighter" film with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia. 1994's Street Fighter film, blows The Legend Of Chunli to dust. Your older brother doesn't like JCVD I can understand that but, he should lie and say that Legend Of Chunli was better. Neal McDonough was a joke as M. Bison compared, to Golden Globe and Saturn Award winner Raul Julia.

worst piece of crap ever. Not even campy. They actually threw good actors into this piece of crap as if to give it some credence. Poor Raul Julia, he must have owed someone a favor. Van Damme could just add this to a long line of pure shit. I mean it was the 90's, Terminator 2 had already come out, so it's not as if special effects were a new artform... so how could anyone accept Blanka as a guy painted in green paint???!!!!

You think Street Fighter was better than Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen I'm surprised. Well, Street Fighter was supposed, to be a Multi-Billion dollar feature film from Universal Pictures but, they hired bad directors and Steven E. DeSouza wasn't that experienced at directing as he was screenwriting. He was better at doing his 1994 film than Andrez Barkowiak directing, Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chunli. TheMechanic11 there will be sequels to Legend Of Chunli man.

Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat from 1994 and 1995 were the best video game films of the 1990's. Street Fighter was nominated, for a Saturn Award nomination from Raul Julia playing a blockbuster hardcore Warlord M. Bison. Jean-Claude Van Damme was cool, action-packed and explosive as Guile. Mortal Kombat I bet also, received Saturn Award Chris Lambert and Cary H. Tagawa were phenomenal Raiden and Shang Tsung. Robin Shouw was also, great as Liu Kang.

Street Fighter The Movie in 1994 made like, Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie would have sent the movie too the Academy Award/ Oscars in the following year of 1995. Perhaps, we will get a rebooted Street Fighter film with Ryu and Ken leading characters in the film. There friends of course, are Colonel Guile, Chunli Zang of Interpole and the other World Warriors. The enemy of course, is General M. Bison of Shadowlaw plotting to conquer the world.

I actually liked this film, my brother didn't like it much at first, he was a street fighter fan, but i managed to get a laugh out of him when this came on once, i yelled "Quick, change the channel!" in an impersonation of Zangief. He thinks this is better then Mario Bros anyway.

I'll be honest people I enjoy the film. I enjoy it as a good old 90's Jean Claude Van Damme action film. I don't watch it for Academy Award winning performances and writing, I just watch it for fun. And even if you hate it you've got to admit that Raul Julia was great in this.

I have Street Fighter on Standard DVD as a Collector's Edition and the DVD movie has both, the teaser trailer and theatrical trailer. This movie was one of Raul Julia's and Jean-Claude Van Damme's finest films. Raul's other was The Addams Family film series and JCVD's was "The Quest". Street Fighter could have been an Academy Award winning film with a fantastic director, writers and producers. Street Fighter did receive a Saturn Nomination for Raul Julia's role as General M. Bison.

Man, I think SF fans are too hard on this movie. It wasn't THAT bad. Let's be honest about this. Out of all the video games movies that have been made, this is actually one of the BEST ones. There have been FAR worst video game movies than this one.
