I looked and found Romans 1:27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and 1 Timothy 1:8-11(and Timothy even says that what he wrote IS according to the Gospel). The passage in Romans is undeniably clear, in Greek, in any New Testament translation, and the first homosexually-favoring website on a Google search about the passage tries to explain with some confounded reasoning -- it says the Romans passage means that lesbians and gays who go against their "fundamental nature" would be sinning by engaging in heterosexual relations, which is absurd.

Homosexuality is seeming barred by Mosaic Law, much of which, such as divorce, was contested by Christ leaving parts of the Law He didn't mention in question. Paul seems to condemn it in 1 Cor. but it is in reference to prostitution. Neither this nor the pagan orgy he mentioned in Rom. is reflective of all homosexual relations any more than the prostitute who bathed Christ's feet with her tears or David and Bathsheba's affair is of all heterosexuals unions.

If 1 reads the Bible in context, looks at Biblical history the truth of Scripture is there-not 1 word about 'gay' not 1. Paul seems to condemn it in 1 Cor. but it is in reference to prostitution. God saved me, and my same sex partner. We are married - Iowa - married in a Christian Church by an ordained Christian minister, in front of God. You will need to deal with that fact, and with the fact homosexual orientation is not in the Bible. Someday all Christians will know its ok to be gay not a sin.

I looked and found Romans 1:27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and 1 Timothy 1:8-11(and Timothy even says that what he wrote IS according to the Gospel). Please give me the same curtsy I gave you and look up these verses (study them (and believe what you read)). And if these verses are confusing and hard to understand ask about them. i have read the Bible many times, I have 6, 1 very old one. If you look at the old one the actual word homosexual does not appear anywhere, why, because it didn't appear in any Bible anywhere until the early 1950s forgot exact year, I think 1952.

I would argue if we are all God's children, made in his likeness and image, then to deny access to any sacrament based on sexuality is exactly the same thing as denying it based on skin color, or anything else. The passage in Romans is undeniably clear, in Greek, in any New Testament translation, and the first homosexually-favoring website on a Google search about the passage tries to explain with some confounded reasoning -- it says the Romans passage means that lesbians and gays who go against their "fundamental nature" would be sinning by engaging in heterosexual relations, which is absurd.

Of course not -- all Scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Timothy), Jesus is God (John 1 and several other passages), thus Jesus did say in other passages that homosexuality is wrong, thus you must deal with that. There are some Christians that think being homosexual is a sin; I do not believe that. Some will pick & choose from verses, leaving much out & ignore context. If 1 reads the Bible in context, looks at Biblical history the truth of Scripture is there-not 1 word about 'gay' not 1. Romans 1:24-27, 1 Timothy 1:10 and Jude 7 refer to homosexuality as sin. The first two were written by an apostle commissioned by Christ and the other by his flesh and blood sibling who came to believe in Him. So, yes, Jesus is completely against homosexuality. Not to mention you and your partner alone can't naturally contribute to the most basic method

@ chicraig6421 About Jesus and His position on homosexuality - in Matthew 19:5, He quoted the Old Testament saying a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. That demonstrates two things - He acknowledged marriage as being between 1 man and 1 woman and also referenced the same Torah which later (under Old Testament law) showed God's position concerning homosexuality, thus showing Christ sided with God's law (the same one He fulfilled).

Being gay is a choice made by God, when He creates some of His children to be homosexual. Once a person is born, he eventually comes to understand what his sexual orientation is, but of course, for the person, sexuality is innate and cannot be changed. I don't have sex outside of marriage, i am married (Iowa) to my same sex partner. So while many try to equate gays with sex, they are flat out wrong. It is no different that trying to equate straights with sex, really.
God saved me, and yes I struggled and sinned. Being gay is not a sin no need to repent for being gay.

Homosexuality is seeming barred by Mosaic Law, much of which, such as divorce, was contested by Christ leaving parts of the Law He didn't mention in question. Paul seems to condemn it in 1 Cor. but it is in reference to prostitution. Neither this nor the pagan orgy he mentioned in Rom. is reflective of all homosexual relations any more than the prostitute who bathed Christ's feet with her tears or David and Bathsheba's affair is of all heterosexuals unions.

The New Testament stresses how hohosexualiy is a sin that will be judged and no homosexual, who never repents will ever inherit the kingdom of God and can only expect condemnation. To say the law dieds with Jesus is to say that now murder, rape, theft and adultery are now not sins, absurd indeed. Homosexuality is a sin and it is 100% clear in the bible.
