Hi, Gary! Just catching up on some of your older videos. Your older work is awesome - especiall love the second painting of yours you discussed in this vid. with the moon, iris and fabirc! xoxo
Great to see an Aussie on here. "Don't you just love the smell of books?" I know where you're coming from. LOVE books! I want to brandish mine now lol.. Hallelujah, someone who pronounced asphalt properly, not asHphalt!! Lol. Inspirational using fabric patterns. I want to get into texture a lot more. Like Stephen King says in his book on how to write - "kill your darlings". That's the next step for me. Thanks for your inspiration. Love your vids!
Hay Gary good to see you! I like your art works, what was the tecnique used for the Iris flower and the texture on the upper moon. That have suck a good texture. Isn't Ron Mueck a show stopper! I saw some of his works in Ottawa two years ago. I was stunned by the impact of there sizes. A dream of mine is to work with him and learn every thing he knows. Was he at the show? Did they show the process video at the end? I want to see his work again!!WA...
Love is the Devil is currently available for instant viewing on the old lap top/ computer through netflix...agree 100% a cool and almost voyeuristic film.
Wow, what a great video to share! I'm looking forward to seeing whats to come with you art. I'm so excited to hear about your printmaking and that you received that book, its on my wish list too!
And thanks for sharing those tid bits on the exhibition I look forward to seeing more!
Saw the film, thought it was amazing. I'm reading "Interviews" right now. Wow, such a good book. I go tomorrow to pick up, "Anatomy of an Enigma" YAY! It finally came in! I too, agree with so much of what Bacon says on art.
we'll still support if you don't comment back lol!! and I concure 100%; love IS the Devil. That film sounds really cool, though. and I've heard that sculpter. He's fantastic!
I would LOVE to see that Ron Mueck exhibition. It looks so interesting and must have been such a strangely surreal experience. I can't believe the detail in his work!
Glad to see you so refreshed and ready to create again! This has been a well-deserved break from all of your demanding admirers...and we'll all be glad to see your new ideas and videos when you are ready to share. Enjoy the rest of your vacation! I really love the second artwork you showed...I have loved irises and moons forever.
