Hey I am having a different porblem on my g1 um i had to restart the phone for some reason and now when I get to the email set up part of the phone where I am setting up my gmail account it cant get passed that part its saying this could be a temp eccor with goolge blah blah blah. My problem is that I live in ireland and I dont have tmobile so I cannot bring it into a shop and ask them about it or ring tmobile to help me so I really do not know what to do help
From the home screen you hit the menu button then select settings then stroll down until you see SD card & phone storage then select it you should then see the last option Factory data reset select that then it will confirm the reset of factory settings. One tip to you is to download the app MyBackUp this will allow keep all of your settings.
