I have this guitar 1965 jazz split sound with original hard case. I love it. It's tremendous fun to play. I have a short in the tone nob that looks like it's alien technology. Does anyone know where I can find the schematic?

I have the exact same guitar. I traded a Harmony electric for it in 1967. It was a used 1965 Balwin (Burns) Jazz guitar. Gotta love the "Wild Dog" pickup position.

Many inovative features, zero fret, worm gear truss rod adjustment, and the roller bearing bridge and tremolo system.

I still have mine, but seldom play it.

I chose this over a Les Paul gold top at the time. I paid more for this one $458 !

At the time it was the right choice.
