I work in a shop on fords all day. i would much rather work on an LT1 any day of the week than work on 4.6l moudular ford motor an plus an LT1 gets 26mpg or better where as a crown vic only gets around 20 if that.

i have had a caprice classic and a vic. they get the same mpgs, even though the cap has a 350, and it is not an LT1 buddy. i have a allen supercharger on my 94 vic and it hauls. either engine is easy to work on, i think your just a fanboy. both cars are awesome.

Did you notice that you said it's not an LT1 I WORK for a ford lincoln mercury dealership i work on fords allday and yes a 95 crownvic will not get near the same MPG as a 95 Caprice. Hell my wifes 2001 silverado gets the same MPG as a crown vic and its a full size ex. cab V-8 truck that you can haul s*it with
