1 meinl - very defined stick and i love the bell

2 paiste - good spectrum of sound especially on crash

3 sabian - bright classic sound great ping on bell

4 zildjian - too much undertone, rings long

im sorry but i play punk rock and i got the pastie and yeh its REALLY nice as a ride but when you go on the side and crash it its just far too deep....... my advise- zildjian :)

zildjians bell is very weak. SABIAN ALL THE WAY, you should make a video for pro ride cymbals and use the 3 sabian powerbell rides they would dominatw, sabian hh powerbell, aax powerbell and aa powerbell.

Are you guys commenting tone deaf . The sabian and meinl sounded like tin garbage cans. The paiste was clear and bright and the Zildjian had nice sustain and a pleasing tone . Of course everyone has different taste .But use some common sense .

Zildjian and Sabian are on the same wagon. In my opinion, Paiste is the way to go. They are not more expensive, the PST 5 cost less that ZXT or B8 Pros and sound at least 2x better. And they can take a BEATING!

Aight the zildjian entry level stuff is pretty crappy, but because its a name brand and the top cymbals they make are good, everyone wants to join the band wagon and say zildjian has the best entry level cymbals. but they dont. sabian does. and sabian is cheaper. the paistes are expensive as crap and the meinl just doesnt sound right
