I commend you for going freehand and not using a cheap program like everyone else does nowadays but you play it too much by the book buddy :/ I can tell you've had some classes by the way you started off and as a result your intinct to draw realism is conflicting with the anime style and actually holding you back.

@xxzachlxx Actually I've never had any real art classes except for the art classes you're required to take in high school.I've never really had an interest in realism.I did actually try it recently & I'm okay but it's just not my cup of tea.I drew this a few years ago when all I really drew was fan art & I had a reference for this picture so I went off of it for guidelines.Back then I didn't really know how to use them correctly but I've learned guidelines since & my own style (my new videos) :)

what kind of pencil are you using?

Wow! Great work here, not just drawing him accurately, but also the very fine pencil work. The shading is very well smoothed out, and the different tones blend very nicely. :)

Mind me asking what pencil(s) you used to color with? It was hard to see the names since your hand was moving so fast. xD
