Actually, people on ebay are mostly wholesalers. Those wholesalers tend to sell their products to higher end makeup companies, who then slap their brand on it. As long as you research what you're buying, there shouldn't be a problem.

I also bought a 120 palette from Ebay and it's great. The colors are really vibrant and are also very easy to blend. I would definitively recommend it to all makeup beginners, because it has a lot of colors you can use to practice your daytime looks with or more dramatic looks, without spending a fortune on your makeup. I would also recommend getting a set of makeup brushes from Ebay. I bought a 32 piece set. They were really cheap and the quality is good enough for everyday use.

I debated for a long time between this and the 88, and it seems obvious because the pots are bigger for the 120. However, I purchased both 88's from eBay and don't regret it. Although I wish I had only purchased the Shimmer 88. CS has a new 88 "Metal Mania" palette. BH sells it under a different name. It looks gorgeous: shimmery neutrals and plums. :)

@momsangels100 not much at all.. if you type it in ebay.. you can basicly get reaallly cheap versions.. i bought mine for like £13.. and it stays on for the whole day.. i was soo suprized because it was so cheap... but if you used that one and the mac.. you wouldnt know the diffrence at all.. ive had mine for two years now and ive still got all of mine(Apart from Gold.. I love the 120 Palette! =] My fiance bought it for me for Valentines Day on ebay. It was only $12 (NEW! still packaged completely. Took about 10 days from Hong Kong to Indiana - US)! I use a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter then my skin tone as a base. It works great and the colors show up very well (when here is some kind of -non powder- base used).
