she was the youngest contestent in the Miss America 2008 pageant. And she is the 2nd youngest winner ever, after Kimberley Aiken in 1994.

I think that Kimberly Aiken was the youngest, at age 17...I don't remember exactly which year it was she won. It was some time in the '90's.

the clip said that she sang in an opera house in Italy... She must have been in a choir or something. There is no way that little airy, slightly flat voice could handle opera.

wow im from michigan and never heard anything about her winning..lmao..i watched miss usa and michigan didnt even make top 15...ive been waiting for years to see michigan win and i missed it! lol darn...

not a stand out miss america, but good and clearly what they were looking for this year. They played it safe with her. I LOVED her dress though and I thought she walked quite well.

shes sooooo much better than this, she sang the laughing song from the strauss fledermaus at the miss michigan pageant, she has a spectacular opera soubrette voice, this is by no means a fair representation of her talent.(i went to high school with her)
