Absolutely awesome!

I saw the winning car on the McLaren display at the Autosport international show in january and got goose bumps standing next to it.

Not only that but I got a pic taken of me actualy licking the car! I had to.

@LulaJake Couldn't agree more. While the VW Veyron is a remarkable technological achievement it will never have the character and soul of a McLaren F1.

That was just really bad luck the West Competition McLaren had. If I were part of the team, I would want to cry because of the bad luck. Just four corners later he crashes the car out of the race.

I own the tape and have watched it a few times over the years. Great story!

There is one error I had never noticed before in this video, at the very end. The announcer says. "McLarens finished 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 12th."

The last McLaren to finish was actually placed 13th. I wonder how and why they got that wrong?
