Folks, don't waste your money on this garbage. It's cheaply made, terribly underpowered, cannot do any kind of stunts, and it absolutely will not work on water. For $10 worth of foam and $40 worth of electronics you can build your own that will work 1000-times better.

I've scratch-built about 20 planes in the last few years, everything from simple foamie profile 3d planes to hand-cut balsa frames skinned with monokote. However, it's not really worth my time to debate the merits of this cheap toy with you.

does this go on water? i have one and am able to fly it quite well. All you need to so is understand its techniuc of flying. this is not like a good gliding plane, its more power flight than glide.

i bought mini storm launcher for my kids, ages 3 and 5, took them to the park and it cant fly. i now just run it along the ground for them to chase it like a cat to a mouse. they get a kick out of it..i wasted $40 for something that doesnt fly. It does not take off on grass either. I guess it might take off on manicured golf grass but not park cut grass. Also, battery life is not great. I will not purchase another one.

i just bought this today went to walmart to check out electronics but instead i noticed there was a whole shelf full of these and some other air hog r/c toys and best part was they were both on sale!!! only $5!!! if you live in toronto or ontario go check out your local walmart not bad for just $5 reg. price was $14.95 i can't wait to go fly it outside =D i think i might even go buy another one...

the storm launcher is a rip off. the battery sucks ass, and 1 bad landing in the water and it's done. I fly actual gas r/c airplanes, and compared to that the storm launcher was harder to fly. I say with the $ you are spending, go get yourself a real r/c toy

not really. the original storm launcher is good,but the mini storm launcher does suck. dont even go on water and also it dont have elevator so u have to fly into the wind which is gay.

Get a bunch of altitude and kill the throttle to make it dive. Then give it half throttle and full left or right... it will roll

I bought one of the Mini's. Flies surprisingly well for something that doesn't look look it should fly at all. Really tough to, much tougher then the bigger Storm Launcher.

Mini can't run on water as the pontoons are designed just for flight. Also, the props and the engine are much smaller than with Stormlauncher which is designed with water in mind.
