You know what makes Tron so impact-lasting? That the move predicted many things, how the future of computer would evolve. 'm sitting here in germany, watching the SDCC Q&A. As a Tron 1.0 fan, I'd never thought that I'll see Legacy some day, but the Internet made that all possible and 'm actively participating in the worldwide (!) ARG, having my Encom badge and looking forward to the 16th December =) Isn't technology great?

It was cutting edge and revolutionary back then. Do you really think they haven't taken into account the history of that. It will be visually stunning again, and I thing they might have a nice little story to put with it. You might cry your eyes out when someone dies.

I hope it's not all the same darn mono look because one of the things that made the original Tron so visually stunning was all the beautiful colours and stuff.

@impurekind The original Tron featured no more than 2 or 3 colors at the same time, and even that was rare. Most scenes were black/white with just one color dominating the scene. The actor's scenes were shot in high contrast black and white in darkened rooms aswell, to add to that (ugh, double take) contrast.

The HD Phantom camera work on the "tricking" section is pretty amazing. This film is going to break all types of boundaries in terms of techs.

I was there. Panel was great. I barely got into Hall H because of over 4000 "Twilight" fans just had to fill the room to see the Twilight Panel that was schedule for later in the day.

At least 5000 people couldn't even get into Hall H becuase of them.

The people running Comic Con should of scheduled the Twilight Panel for a different room or for Friday or Saturday *morning*, then after they leave, everyone in line outside may actually get to see the other panels for a change!

i was pissed, because this was the second year in a row that made hall H a disaster.because of twilight i missed this panel. i missed astro boy. i missed almost everything in hall H. but thank god i got into avatar. the line was still huge as the people who didn't get were twilight fans waiting in line, in their masses, trying to get into h 10 minutes before it started. nearly fucked up my Thursday. i hope next year, twilight finds another hall, leaving hall H alone.
