First gig of their British tour - and what an opener.

I was at this gig, and I was in shock when they sang this. Me and my sister also used to sing the same song together a cappella, when we were in our early teens. Me and my sister were both in the audience staring at each other, when we realised they were even doing the same harmony. We also used to another higher harmony over the top. So we were singing the higher harmony over the top of The Pierces singing this, I wish we could have sang it with them on stage!!!

I think that if Paul Simon ever heard this rendition of his song, he would be so pleased and proud. I was there at the Leadmill gig and found The Pierces set so polished, "genuine" and uplifting.
