@smooretogo just because you don't think it is right to use marijuana doesn't mean it isn't a medicine, or that it is bad. marijuana can help people with many ailments. what can alcohol, which i imagine you don't consider a drug and consider to be fine, do for anyone? i don't approve of the use of morphine and other opiates, but that doesn't mean they don't help people who actually need them. the truth is our representatives have NO BUSINESS legislating their own morality any way you look at it.

I'll be damn happy when news networks stop editing in the stupid close-up shots of people smoking joints. I'm certain they do it because of the "disgust" factor. But the majority of medical pot users use vaporizers, baked goods, water pipes, or pipes. Just my $.02.
