  • faark dam bro shame about the car. you know how to treat a subie tho

  • I like the Legacy at the end.

  • :(

  • this video would have been so much better if there wasnt any music only car sounds

  • Its a car. Sure the greatest and sexiest car ever made... but they will always be around. I would rather a sti be totaled and the person driving ok, then the other way around....

  • i hope your doing better. i am an evo and sti fan i love both cars. i really hate to see someone that is talented at drifting and rally racing lose there car. on october 29th of this year i lost my evo due to a drunk fool rear ending my car at about 70mph! i was going 20mph. so i feel your pain. just do yourself a favor and get another one and keep having fun that is what its all about. i am planning on going and lookin at an 04 sti today as well!!! also good luck with your battle!!!!!!!

  • My 07 was 4 months old with 3k miles on it. Then, one night, ran off road through trees at 70mph. Nothing left. But I'm alive.

  • shit looks bad ass bro great vid

  • I'm telling you! I watch this and it makes me sad! I can only imagine how you feel about it!

  • @littlejaynjay Thanks

  • great video man i enjoy my 07 STI as much as i can an some ppl always ask me y i take my 30K car to socal deserts and bonneville salt flats and i just tell them cus thats wat i bought it for you enjoyd your car and thats what counts

  • just be thankful bro!

  • Great driving bro, hope you beat that silly thing they call cancer.

4:10 Is that Straddleline ORV park in WA?

  • ouch man, Sorry to hear. I hope you get better from cancer and get another Sti.

  • ah f*ck tough luck mate

but now you can upgrade to an evo! lol

  • get a new one!!!! and keep going men!! dont b sad!!

  • you've got skills man, hang in there!

  • got some skills there :)

  • beautiful sti,i have a rs legacy myself but is nothing compared to that sti =p

  • great driver man

  • I just bought a 2007 STi (I'm also in Oregon) and you are like a rolemodel!

How can you drift an AWD car?

  • Cancer took my my grandmother from me. I hate this disease. I hope you get well Sam, take care of yourself.

STI is the car to love!

  • Amazing vehicles, those STi's. Glad to hear that you are doing well with cancer, I lost a friend to it a while back and it was difficult. Hope ya get another STi someday!!

  • damn dude... that sucks...

  • finally someone beats on a car that is meant to be beat on.. sick vid

  • Subaru's aren't meant to be clean...

  • hope you are doing better. but i dont mean to be rude why were you driving your car when you were that tired? I dunno maybe my 240 without its ps anymore is a bit tougher to handle so if i have a trip to make i make sure im fresh enough to handle it. sorry to hear what happened hopefully you are winning the other war with cancer.

  • why drive when I'm tired? because I was always tired during the treatments. lasted about 4 months w/ chemo and radiation... I've been in remission 2yrs now. all is well.

  • No..., I couldnt take a break for 4 months and wait to see what happened, I was living life to the fullest I could 'just in case' it were my last days. never know...

  • im glad your okay buddy no matter what u always push foward a car is a car a life is a life

  • @rallysoob totally respect you i would do the same

  • ya i guess thats true. well save up for another one. its good that alls well now.

  • @rallysoob So it doesn't matter if you kill someone else through your selfish acts!

What a total idiot you are...a selfish self centred idiot who doesn't care about anyone else. I hope you were prosecuted for driving when advised not to and you knew you shouldn't have been driving. I don't go for the emotional blackmail or "all feel sorry for me" stories.

  • I feel sor for u man lol.. That was some nice driving and car

  • great vid. sad to hear it. and they dooooo look gooood alll diryt. haha. hope im that good some day!

  • i loat my car keys today n i am lost now with out ma car i think world of it

  • sry about you'r car and i hope you are doing good and what did you crash in to

  • nice to see some good driving offroad!

  • Good vid, sorry to hear about the car and I hope you're doing alright!

  • damn stat suck at least you can say that you drove the car and did not baby it

  • good vid man!

  • sad day indeed

  • Hope you are doing better. At least car replaceable, you are not!!!

  • @ibook133 The people he might kill through inconsiderate and dangerous driving are not either. It might be time he starts to think about others. If he was in the UK he would be in prison now.

  • sry bout the cancer hope its getting better. Lets put it this way you used the car to the max and you used it for what it was built for so hope you get another and hope you get better.

  • NICELY!!! what about your insurance? they wouldn't pay a drop?

  • I know that recovering from cancer is a tough. You can look at it this way, the car did it's job and you lived. Now you just have get another one.

  • AWESOME CAR AND VID

  • sad video man, you drove it how it should be driven! good to hear your ok now, im looking at buying an 05 sti and this video had me arroused lol.

  • Damn man, such great driving. Drove it like it wants to be driven. I have an OBP 05 STI, I've only taken it through a canyon once. Was a lot of fun, but wish I could do what you did in this vid. Hope you get another one, stick with 05! :)

  • i'm sorry man such a nice ride good luck in future

  • ='(

nice driving and vid with a sad ending..

    *****

will you buy a new impreza? 06 or 08?

  • I thought this place looked familiar. Im from Portland.

  • Man i'll say it once and i'll say it again i'd pay you to teach me how to get drift like that. awesome vid!

  • this video could make me cry.

  • on e of the best tribute vids man loved it to bad and good to see that your progressing with your cancer

  • thats good to hear. good luck with workin up the money for the STi and best of luck to you with your health

  • sorry to hear that dude, that sucks. hope you've found a new car to fulfill your need for speed but i especially hope you're doin better with the cancer.

  • Sorry to hear about the cancer and the car. both things suck.. Get well man.

  • I'm so sorry I owned a conquest tsi (starion turbo) that got destroyed when a woman in a van hit me head on so I feel the pain man. Beautiful car I actually bought a 05 sti with some of my settlement money they're such solid cars, best performance you can get for the price and there such all around cars, rally, drag , daily drivers you name it.

  • love the end

  • oh come on thats fixable...

  • almost, but it was totaled by about a grand...

  • wow they are some good roads!! i like people that like turning not just drags...theres skill in cornering !!

  • wierdest music ive ever heard :| but nice sti

  • i'm sry that u totalled it :(.. what do u drive now? hopefully not that crappy toyota that u raced haha ;)! my mom just bought an '07 subaru impreza 2.5i.. not quite the 300+hp u had but its still pretty quick for a 4 cyl.

  • The guy wtih the S4 can get his center diff changed to 80/20 through achtuning

  • where is that rally school?

  • Primitive Racing Rallyschool in Portland,OR and Washington

  • awsome video man. good to see someone using this car to its full potential. im hoping to get my very own STi in a couple months. srry bout the crash man. im sure you'll get another

  • Ya, I drive an b5 S4 and its boring, i just put a sway bar on the rear and chipped it. still understeers like a bitch on pavement though. no gravel around here to have fun on. Can you explain pavement driftin' a little better? you can e-mail me if you'd like

  • I haven't driven the S4 yet so I would start finding out multiple ways you can creat oversteer 'in a open parking lot' like dropping the clutch with wheel turn, frontbrake weight transfer setup, e-brake at speed then drop clutch while sideways, scandnevian flick, etc. I recomend learning the car like you would learn a bicycle you'de race (if u ever BMX). Become One with the car through practice and there will be no questions. A good driver drives on his limits and not the car's

  • thanks, are there any forums out there that are about this type of driving that can help with awd?

  • e-brake to kick out the rear i assume?

  • on gravel? negative. Weight Transitions... I was using the e-brake on the drift-x track some to help with a little understeer i was having from bald front tires. It's a simple car to rally, but gets trickier on pavement; Exact opposite of an EVO...

  • it had a good life i would of drove it the same way that is how it was supposed to be drove. my self i have a 80 toyota corolla sr5 and its a awsome rally car so i hope you get another cause i know how you feel cause my cusin used to own one and he hit a light pole

  • i want a wrx, cause i can't afford an sti lol. like an 02 wrx would be nice

  • its nice to see that you are a true subie owner and driving the car the way it should be hope your able to get your hands on a new subie soon

  • rallysoob: It is so refreshing to see someone actually take the time to learn how to drive that car to it's full potential instead of turning it into a quarter mile runner. I hope you are doing well and that you will find yourself in a race ready STI very soon.

  • thats how the sti shud be used

  • " honey stop feeding the mustangs, hurry come and look at the big black boar playing in the mud! "

awsome video, don't think i'm gonna get my white sti dirty anytime soon. well maybe after i clear bar the whole car. lol

  • hey are you going to get another soobie??

  • I will one day... hopefully sooner than later cuz I'm having serious STi withdrawls

  • Im thinking of getting a wrx

  • u know ill hav ur sti after u crash it honestlly, wouldnt mind my own.... so sad im broke

  • so sad to hear that u crashed, but fortunately your ok, u drove that car like it was supposed to be driven. hope you can get a new one and do the same :) good luck with your treatments.

  • Amazing video, I am SOOOOOOO UPSET to see this sir, I have shown your videos past to many, and have them ALL on my favorites. I wish you the best with your treatments and any endeavors you have in life.

  • Thanks man, I have been in remission for 5 months now And I'm doing really well, physically. I'm glad other sooby enthusiasts are enjoying my vids. I only wish I would have kept a v-cam with me from the beginning. Most of my exciting moments in that car happenened off camera unfortuneately. Cheers to GoodHealth!

  • cancer and a tottalled car, thats a double wamy

sorry about that! hope insurance didn't screw you over and you can get another one or something similar some day

  • You treated her as she was ment to be driven. Cool video. I fell asleep too from my interferon treatments but was driving my Jeep and woke up on the grassy median. But I did buy an 04 sti celebrate getting off that nasty drug.Glad you are OK and wishing you all the best.

  • thats why we took the keys from my grandma - she couldn't handle the cancer treatments and driving. Nobody really can - it wears you out to the point that you don't even realize it until something really bad happens. Sorry for your loss.

  • THANK YOU for getting your baby dirty and taking her back to her rally roots! at least she had a good run!

  • First of all sorry for your loss. I have 05 sti with prodrive kit and i decided to DRIVE it more, afterall its better than feeling sorry after sth like this happens. BTW, mine is 2 liters and are you sure about the handbrake clutch? My auth. service said the opposite(no seperator with hb, like wrc). Anyway 05 sti is the peak of subaru so hope you get another one.

  • Hey, Every car eventually dies. But not every car gets to really LIVE. You took that STI where it was meant to go, It had a great life, the mud, the track, and the hard corners. And you treated it right, you didnt just hammer it like a kid. You drove it like it was meant to be driven. Nothing can bring back the lost... but the new 2007 STI's look pretty sharp =). Hope you had good insurance on that thing and got a nice big check.

  • as long as you're ok, you gonna have the chance to buy another sti. Hey was that camry from the 80's your new ride? awesome... lol

  • dude I'm so sorry, but I'm glad you're ok. Hope you got rid of that cancer now. You know, you'll probably get the chance to buy a new car, so it's not the end of the world :P

  • Keep It Going Bruv.TOP CLIP.i need to find me a place like that in england to have me some fun

  • i agree completely, you weren't sliding around public roadways (that is fun tho, i can't lie about that), endangering bystanders, or destroying your car like the kids where i live do. SERIOUS RESPECT

  • How did it happen, very Sad, You Totally redefine the meaninig of Driving an STi. Not like any Punks here whu hav em. Driving at 2000RPM all the time Top speed 100KM lol Too bad for him he needs to be a driver lik you, RESPECT

  • Dude, that sucks so much... You are a damn good driver though... I do have a question though, when using the hand break, is it ok to just yank it? Or is it best to push in the Clutch first? I mean after all if all 4 wheels are connected, and thus connected to the engine, does that cause problems? Or are there like little bearings that allow you to pull the hand break and it's ok?

  • in the 04/05 STi I know you don't need the clutch... Something todo with the center diff. I know that you have to engage clutch on my buddy's 98 impreza EJ25 Hybrid because it has the old 2.5RS Diffs still...

  • ok, I have a 2001 RS (GC6) I was just though I would ask someone who has experiance... thanks!

  • *hugs you* glad to see your alive and i hope the treatment went well. i lookforward to see more videos from you. take care

    -phoenix-

  • That last clip with the car overtaking was hilarious! I used to have a Scooby and when I look back at the fun I used to have with it, it always brings a smile to my face! Good to see you`re okay though mate and nice driving.

  • Its good thing you were okay after your wreck man. I give you props for going to rally school and shit with your car. My dad bought this '88 Subaru Justy, she's a tank... try rallying without power steering! Anyway, I'ma dig around for an impreza and find a rally school some where. I'd really like to compete in the STPR in Wellsboro Pa... I live only 20 minutes from there. So, it only seems right that I'd participate!

  • Hope your treatment went well. Will you buy another STi?

  • Your video made me cry

  • God bless you're alive. Life is more important than material things. But I salute you.

  • always nice to see a Subie doin what it was made for. drivin in the mud `n such. :) I know i fi had back roads like those in this vid 'round here, id be crusin every weekend. Sorry to see Your Subie wrecked RallySoob.

  • Your video made me teary eyed

  • One of the few people who drove an Sti the way it was intended to be driven!

  • atleast you had fun in it
