hi man, how could u possibly run games so smoothly? I have the same macbook as you do, with quad core 2.3 ghz, when i tried playing crysis, regardless of what graphics settings i use, it still lags a lot... did u update your drivers or did u just use the bootcamp drivers?

Turn those shadows off and watch the frame rate rise :) Shaders, and shadows are FPS killers on mobile cards

So, anyone know how much FRAPS in fps recording mode will hit the actual FPS? If you played without FRAPS, would you get as much as a 3-4 FPS boost?

@Killery96 Fraps slows down frames A LOT. I wouldn't be surprised if you get as much as a 12 frame boost after turning it off.

@Freakintosh you can using through windows but not from Mac OS X.

btw if u overclock MBPs and goes over 90C, your mac will shut down automatically due to over heat
