No actually I know about 15 people with American cars, no issues to speak of really... Any car will last a long time, unless you are a dipshit and don't take care of it. And yes I know about Japanese cars, I have two and they're both shitty... Gutless and poorly made. And the 5.0 is a much better engine than most Jap motors... It's a very tough engine, and responds well to upgrades.
