how to get the hex off? my tt01 has stupid hexes that get stuck when u try to take them off the axle, and they are really lose on the wheel.

Get the aluminum hex. you bolt it on and it never comes of and it gives a more accurate tire mounting.

the fact the hex stays on the shaft is attualy quite good...
it leaves your wheels in a universal 12mm hex and your tt01 in a universal hex also.
also as previuosly commented metal hexes have a tightening screw that will keep them on the shaft all the time giving an accurate fix.
if you did want the hexes to come off with the wheel then you could get some dirffernt hexes or wheel rims and see if you could match a pair up

Could you suggest some brands of hexes which arent too expensive?
hum... on ebay the prices arnt too bad.
or just check at a local model store
alloy hexes are good but for a tt01 i wouldent of really thought were nessasery...
sorry i cant help you out much on that one
Nice tip, but i think alloy hex's with grub screws are better
