I think Brands' comedy 'stylings' are mostly lost on people who don't know about him. He is the class A reformed fu*k up, heavy on the irony. I think Brands' comedy 'stylings' are mostly lost on people who don't know about him. He is the class A reformed fu*k up, heavy on the irony. Alot of his stand up is deep in the British sense of humour rather than American, which is subtly different. He did a show in London about how the VMA's went awfully and he had to toss the script after the Bush joke and make the rest up as he went along.

Russel Brand was hilarious at the VMA's! The Jonas Brothers jokes were great, and thoroughly deserved, and I can't even begin to explain how much I hate that cow Jordin Sparks.
