I've not bothered reading anything on TERA before. Can someone explain what is the new innovation that this brings over say Lineage2 and Aion?

Guild Wars 2 graphics are on par with this game, even though GW2 clearly has more FPS than this.

Guild Wars 2 graphics are more fleshed out and vibrant, giving darker places more grim, and brighter places that peaceful feeling.

This game has a bland and dull repetition of the same graphics and remind me a lot of Aion, who's graphics are far inferior to Guild Wars 2.

Also, the combat in this sucks.

No, the combat doesnt suck, tera takes a lot more skill because u actually have to dodge/block attacks. Im and avid monster hunter player and this type of combat appeals to me.

@whatswithyous What the hell makes you think that GW2 doesn't require you to dodge and block? o_O Look up gameplay vids of GW2 and tell me that combat isn't faster-paced, higher FPS, and has people rolling, jumping, and using skills that dash them backwards or forwards as if they were some sort of ninja. -_- People defending their games at least should bring up solid arguments. You're obviously saying shit for shit, since both these games are still in Alpha stage and haven't been released.

@whatswithyous By the way, I don't see anyone swimming down in Tera Online. I don't see anyone being able to use skills while they're swimming. I don't see you being able to use skills while you're actually rolling away AND dodging. I don't see the incredible gfx anywhere in Tera, since the lighting and reflection effects in GW2 are far superior. Don't believe it? Just stare deeply into gameplay vids for each game. @whatswithyous graphics are indeed incredibly similar. The art style has a deep Asian influence. The sharpness in every corner is an eye sore, compared to how smooth and colorful GW2 looks. You can clearly tell that in Tera, it's mostly click and wait, unlike GW2 where you're actually aiming most of your skills while moving around constantly. The camera view and speed of angels is incredibly similar to Aion. Looks almost generic with an overlay of a "step-up" to Aion's engine. Now, this analyis

@whatswithyous @whatswithyous is quite clear, and if you can't see it, then you're wrong. NCSoft Korea always strives to push the same type of engine and graphics forward for their games. NC West and ArenaNet are different. Just look at Blade and Soul, the graphics aren't THAT different than Tera's. B&D has a much faster paced, martial-art oriented battle system, which clearly looks to have higher FPS rates as well. All I see in Tera is little girls running around in panties. Nothing aesthetic.

It's practically selling sex appeal with it's women characters and breast physics. Tera seems much more stylistic and less anime generic. As for B&D's framerate, that's a product of the cpu and who is recording the game, not the game itself.

@whatswithyous Oh, and I totally forgot. GW2 will be B2P, and free for the several years everyone is going to be playing it. Tera Online will have you buy the game, but also make you waste about a thousand dollars for it over the course of the decade in which GW2 will reign King.

@whatswithyous Seriously.. tell me what the hell that is. Hit delays? Yes. Panda and a giant sword? Uh, no (unique, but definitely not cool... well, it's more decent than a 10 year old girl running around in stockings). Aim to attack? GW2 does it far better, since Tera's gameplay looks sloppy as shit. Lag and bug fest? Yeah, and at least GW2 doesn't have severe issues like this, while still in Alpha stage.

Honestly, I would still rather Vindictus/Mabinogi Heroes over this... I love the button mashing action-type MMO, but I like Vindictus' Unique questing style better.
