  • I enjoyed your video. Very informative and it appears your dilligence and intelligence are rewarding you... I have similar projects/goals with a little less means and skills, but still

I'm not afraid of the good fight. Keep up the great videos!

    Compulsive Perfectionist.

  • Your video's never sux. Shop looks good.. Thanks..

  • Clean setup, very nice!

Is there a way to bring acid batteries back to life? Or are the plates done with build up? Thanks fo vid...

  • do you not use that ups any more i don't see it or does that grid tie inverter replace it . good vids thanks for the time and effort you put in to them you have tot me almost all that i know about solar power thanks you are a good person

  • I know you know about electrical and I don't mean anything by this but I noticed the feeders and I think a few lg branch circuits were what looked like Aluminum wire. I didn't see any noncorrosive compound on the lugs in your panel box. If it's Aluminum I hope I'm wrong and just couldn't see it....LOL. If it's not on there I hope you check the connections every yr to make sure their tight. All failures by Aluminum wire are caused by not being terminated properly. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 Were those the ones he said were zinc coated?

  • @stevehmi Nope, the Aluminum wires I'm talking about are the wires (feeders & branch circuits) in his breaker box. The Zinc coated wires he talked about are the cables he is using for his connection to the batteries and they are really good wires. I've made a set of 20' car jumper cables out of that type of wire (only smaller) and they have lasted me 30yrs at least with no problems. They don't get hot like some other cables can. Take Care :-))

  • You have a really nice setup dude, and love the music playing in the background, there is nothing better than a little JT to set the mood for a rainy days work!

  • Your video showed you being productive, maintaining your preps, and tools. And honestly made me want to get up tomorrow and clean the tool box up I got from my Dad, when he passed away. No man, it wasn't a bad video..it made me smile. Thanks...

    Long LIVE the CONSTITUTION !!!

  • @S1nn3r1 Thanks...If your dad kept them clean than you better get on it...Im always thinking my mother is looking down on me so I try to do the things that would make her proud..

  • Man it would take me a week to get my tool boxes to look like that. I can clean them all up and the next day they are wrecked....lol Excellent video brother. Thanks for sharing...

  • @EastCoastPrepper Thanks Brother...I will come up and cure your to many tools problem anytime..At your place I would feel like the ultimate American Picker....

  • Good stuff. Wish I had the means to set up my place like yours. Can't do any of the labor which is the mucho grande expensive part of anything these days.

  • @obxsolwind Wow, I thought I was doing good today picking up 4-Titan T-105's for $50 after they checked out on my load tester. I guess I can't take the training wheels off yet, lol. Great video as always brother. Rain, always seem to be a good way to get things inside done. Take care.

  • @minbound Thats awsome my friend...The T 105s are great batteries..I love the rain just not a week of it...

  • @OBXSOLWIND Yeah, a week of rain is pushing the envelope of sanity for sure, lol.

  • great video!! more m14 m1a videos love them!! i have a m1a scout

  • Man you should see my shop Wright now. I getting ready to sell my old work truck and it has a tool box bed on it. I worked on cleaning it out all afternoon and now I have more stuff in my shop than I know what to do with. I think I have more nails, screws, washers, bolts, etc than Lowes. My shop is way to small for the stuff I have. Good video by the way ! I allways like to see what your up to. Take care my friend............

  • @FUBARPROTOCOL I know the fealing my Friend...I love stuff and room but I have more stuff than room. It rained here for a week strait I wish I could have sent it to Texas....

  • Man love how you keep your stuff clean and in order. Good video.

  • Why is it zinc plated, corosion resistance? does that decrease effeciency? or increase or a non issue? getting ready to do a simple battery bank and inverter, solar later but am on the coast also. All those old school tools are the best! Bet none of them are from china!

  • @PopPrepper Hey POP..The zink is all about corrosion from salt and or gasses from the batterys. Very fine stranded wire is the most efficient and more suseptible to corrosion.. I thought Snap On was a Chineese company?? LOL..Cheers Brother..

  • @OBXSOLWIND Shows you what I know about hand tools, not my bag! Thanks for the info, Ill vid the process on the charge controller, battery bank, etc. Thanks for all the info you put up.

  • @PopPrepper I was kidding Pop SnapOn tools are very American made and always has been. They are by no means cheep but they are the best hand down...

  • Good Video!, I didnt think it was boring. I have been looking at all of the solar videos I can find to learn the most efficient way to do it. Your information definetly helps.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @mrstarman57 Thanks..I did the same thing. Finding good info on this stuff is hard to do...
