I remember watching for the first time in theaters when it was attached with ``A Bug's Life'' Nov.25 1998 , and later when it was released on VHS April 20th 1999. This was the first short to be shown in a Pixar movie , the first Toy Story didn't have one , and Toy Story 2 had Luxo Jr. I remember loving how he would interact with himself , and acting as the second player. I brought this over to my grandmother's house and she loved it! Her favorite part was 4:09.

I remember this, the animation was simple compared to today, but the comedy cannot be beat. Today's animations are more about action(aka violence)...then again, Bolt wa really great...

The magical thing about this film is that when I first saw it when I was four, I thought it didn't make sense at all because the there was at first some random guy that was sitting at a table, some other dude joined , and at the end he wasn't there. But coming back to this, I find that the reaction I had from this film was just pixar's cleverness! A film that I despised as a child is my favorite piece of pixar's. I have a personal attachment to this film. Anyone who says otherwise can leave.
