MGS games r the best games ever. they combine great story with great gameplay and tbh the could not cram a 15 hour game into even a 2 hour movie. The games are the best ever but im not sure a movie would be a step in the right direction.

of course he knows, its kind of has HUGE importance to the storyline of mgs 4, and well all of them, in mgs one when snake is talking to liquid you find out that snake finds out about bigboss being his "dad" from big boss himself before snake destroys the origonal metal gear in outer heaven. and before you say the origonal metal gear is the shagohod, the shagohod wasnt a metalgear, metalgear.s are bipedal tanks whilse the shagohod uses treads, you find this out in mgs3 when snake talks to granin

i've heard that big boss was based off of sean connery. that's why mgs3 had a "james bond" feel to it, since it starred big boss (naked snake) in the 60's. perfect time, setting, and character to base off of.

no, solidus is a clone from big boss. there were three clones from big boss and they were made in this order: solidus snake was first and he was the perfect clone of big boss. liquid snake was second and he had all the dominant alleles from big boss. and last but not least was solid snake who had all the recessive genes. liquid is technically the better fighter between him and solid because he had all of big boss's fighting genes.
Sorry but I gotta disagree with you there just cauz Liquid has Big Bosses dominant genes doesn't mean he's a better fighter then Solid just after all genes don't make the soldier it's the battle experience,keeping a cool head even in the heat of battle, and keeping two steps ahead of the enemy. Liquid's anger and emotions blind him and his skill when things don't go his way. As where Solid remains detatched from his emotions when fighting keeping him concentrated hence having solid skill.
hmm... i guess i've heard wrong. i'm not saying i disagree with what you're saying, i actually agree with it, but i could've sworn that liquid's genetic make-up made him a better fighter, in theory of course, over snake. that's why liquid was able to beat solid so many times in the first one. however, solid went against the odds and ended up beating him more than once (if you count mgs4's liquid ocelot battle.) i don't know, maybe i'm getting misinformed.
Well I guess the La Li Lu Le Lo wanted to do a test with the twin snakes that involved there soldier genes. So liquid was told that he had the Resesive gene to see if it would effect his skills & it did, even though he was the dominant one, and Solid Snake wasn't told any thing about his past so he became a excellent soldier even though he was the reseive one. In short The Patriots want to see if there was any truth the soldier gene thoery which believe there wasn't any. thats my theory though.

ahh, i see that. that's really cool. i wish i could do that in my college classes. i would use all video games and sports analysis for my reports. i also learned a lot more between snake/ocelot/liquid lately from reading some forums and stuff. i really love the drama and story between the characters; hideo utilized all the aspects of each character's background so perfectly in mgs4.
Liquid isint a better fighter...but a more powerful fight then solid is but the difference is solid is very calm and thinks things threw just like near the end of MGS4 when liquid and solid fight liquid starts to win and gets on top of solid snake and brutaly attacks him after that liquid thinks he has one and pulls out his antidote but snake isint beat he is hurt but he isint done and he grabs liquids antidote and takes it and breaks liquids finger, solid thought it out.
yeah thats why he wins most of his fights though he knows what he is doing like when ever some one holds a gun up to him(mostly merl) he calls her a rookie and said *your safety is still on* if that was liquid he wouldove killed her but look how much help she was to him he needed her as much as she needed him.
you're right. however, liquid is a bad guy and he would kill regardless. solid is actually a good guy and is somewhat caring for some people. i liked how he played mind games with meryl despite her having the gun pointed at him the whole time. it showed that snake was fearless and bad ass. nonetheless, meryl did help out a lot in the series. i was kind of pissed that i had to go all the way back to get a sniper rifle for her in the first metal gear solid, but it was still awesome.

even though liquid did survive a little longer through ocelot's missing limb, the fact that he only lived for himself was his very downfall. as a matter of fact, just about everybody in the series who only fought for themselves and their well being ended up dying. the patriots were selfish and later annihilated, FOXHOUND was stopped, solidous was stopped, liquid stopped, ocelot was stopped and they never fought for the benefit of other people unlike solid snake.
Finishing mgs4 at the last battle scene between Solid & Liquid...they were both equals in my eyes from what I saw, but in the end Solid Snake kicked Liquid Ocelot's ass. Now some may argue that because Ocelot's body has met and experienced first hand of Big Boss' CQC back in the Virtuous Mission of Mgs3..and that may have had some improvement on Liquid Ocelots during that fight...but in the end Solid Snake won :D

Play MG:PO which takes place after MGS3 and you will see the Patriot is not his primary weapon.

no, solidus is a clone from big boss. there were three clones from big boss and they were made in this order: solidus snake was first and he was the perfect clone of big boss. liquid snake was second and he had all the dominant alleles from big boss. and last but not least was solid snake who had all the recessive genes. liquid is technically the better fighter between him and solid because he had all of big boss's fighting genes.

Sorry but I gotta disagree with you there just cauz Liquid has Big Bosses dominant genes doesn't mean he's a better fighter then Solid just after all genes don't make the soldier it's the battle experience,keeping a cool head even in the heat of battle, and keeping two steps ahead of the enemy. Liquid's anger and emotions blind him and his skill when things don't go his way. As where Solid remains detatched from his emotions when fighting keeping him concentrated hence having solid skill.

hmm... i guess i've heard wrong. i'm not saying i disagree with what you're saying, i actually agree with it, but i could've sworn that liquid's genetic make-up made him a better fighter, in theory of course, over snake. that's why liquid was able to beat solid so many times in the first one. however, solid went against the odds and ended up beating him more than once (if you count mgs4's liquid ocelot battle.) i don't know, maybe i'm getting misinformed.

Well I guess the La Li Lu Le Lo wanted to do a test with the twin snakes that involved there soldier genes. So liquid was told that he had the Resesive gene to see if it would effect his skills & it did, even though he was the dominant one, and Solid Snake wasn't told any thing about his past so he became a excellent soldier even though he was the reseive one. In short The Patriots want to see if there was any truth the soldier gene thoery which believe there wasn't any. thats my theory though.

oh ok, i understand it... i think. so basically, liquid new about his background history but solid didn't, but solid would go on to be an excellent fighter regardless of the whole gene thing. and even though the Patriots theory was that liquid was a better fighter, it was nullified when solid whooped him. i guess i'm good with that answer, the metal gear franchise is so convoluted as it is that i sometimes don't even care what's going on lol. thanks for the response btw.

The only reason I know about this is cauz I have a college that anlyizes Plots, stories, speeches, poetry. and I choose anlyize the MGS story line for a report.

ahh, i see that. that's really cool. i wish i could do that in my college classes. i would use all video games and sports analysis for my reports. i also learned a lot more between snake/ocelot/liquid lately from reading some forums and stuff. i really love the drama and story between the characters; hideo utilized all the aspects of each character's background so perfectly in mgs4.

Liquid isint a better fighter...but a more powerful fight then solid is but the difference is solid is very calm and thinks things threw just like near the end of MGS4 when liquid and solid fight liquid starts to win and gets on top of solid snake and brutaly attacks him after that liquid thinks he has one and pulls out his antidote but snake isint beat he is hurt but he isint done and he grabs liquids antidote and takes it and breaks liquids finger, solid thought it out.

yeah thats why he wins most of his fights though he knows what he is doing like when ever some one holds a gun up to him(mostly merl) he calls her a rookie and said *your safety is still on* if that was liquid he wouldove killed her but look how much help she was to him he needed her as much as she needed him.

you're right. however, liquid is a bad guy and he would kill regardless. solid is actually a good guy and is somewhat caring for some people. i liked how he played mind games with meryl despite her having the gun pointed at him the whole time. it showed that snake was fearless and bad ass. nonetheless, meryl did help out a lot in the series. i was kind of pissed that i had to go all the way back to get a sniper rifle for her in the first metal gear solid, but it was still awesome.

Exactly and you are right liquid is a bad guy and would of killed her regardlessly but thats the reason he is dead he didint care for any one but him self blind sided by evil and hatred but snake on the other hand is good and yes he does care about some people but every one else he doesint care for he does his job for him like he said *whats my life calling is killing the only thing i can do? solid snake*

even though liquid did survive a little longer through ocelot's missing limb, the fact that he only lived for himself was his very downfall. as a matter of fact, just about everybody in the series who only fought for themselves and their well being ended up dying. the patriots were selfish and later annihilated, FOXHOUND was stopped, solidous was stopped, liquid stopped, ocelot was stopped and they never fought for the benefit of other people unlike solid snake.

Finishing mgs4 at the last battle scene between Solid & Liquid...they were both equals in my eyes from what I saw, but in the end Solid Snake kicked Liquid Ocelot's ass. Now some may argue that because Ocelot's body has met and experienced first hand of Big Boss' CQC back in the Virtuous Mission of Mgs3..and that may have had some improvement on Liquid Ocelots during that fight...but in the end Solid Snake won :D
