Don't knock it until you've tried it... with the Macam drivers, it blows away any of the built-in Mac iSights. I never noticed this before, but that's what I used in my augmented reality application testing as well.

... It's augmented reality.. it's what I've been talkiing about for years, the icon on the paper he's holding up is a reference point and a code that the computer "sees" through the webcam and it displays an image of the positioned 3d model on top of the webcam video.
