  • shook her hand once...so beautiful...

  • wonderful tone and clear notes! Just amazing!

  • Thank you for posting the Divertimento..

I need to perform it soon and it's wonderful to be able to listen to her playing it.. How can I get the recording? Any ideas will be appreciated...

  • ebay or amazon used

  • I love so much how Stravinsky put this collage with Tchaikovsky. Besides of her perfect interpretation (non commento!) the composition itself is just great written.

    Thank you, Scott!

  • it is very unique and fresh sounding isnt it?

i first learned of this piece reading isaac sterns book my first 79 years i think its called then i stumbled onto this disk at the library, later i found out its not an easy recording to get your hands on

  • Awsome!

  • couldnt agreee more - i was stunned the first time i heard this, overwhelmed by the beauty of her playing here

  • thanks for the nice post. I enjoyed the info on her. She reportly has said that Kogan never had time for her, although I hear vestiges of him in her. Her playing is a little less sophisticated and agile but she is positioning herself on the top level of current performers, no doubt. She is certainly easier on the eyes than Kogan. I'll give her that!

  • maybe so but a piece like this not even kogan could play better than she did here

  • @rareviolintreasures ...Kogan taught her well then...I suppose...
