I love so much how Stravinsky put this collage with Tchaikovsky. Besides of her perfect interpretation (non commento!) the composition itself is just great written.
i first learned of this piece reading isaac sterns book my first 79 years i think its called then i stumbled onto this disk at the library, later i found out its not an easy recording to get your hands on
thanks for the nice post. I enjoyed the info on her. She reportly has said that Kogan never had time for her, although I hear vestiges of him in her. Her playing is a little less sophisticated and agile but she is positioning herself on the top level of current performers, no doubt. She is certainly easier on the eyes than Kogan. I'll give her that!

maybe so but a piece like this not even kogan could play better than she did here
