sensitive but doe'snt really tell how peope really feel! I've had MS evidently since 1966 but did'nt know until I was fully diagnosed in 1996. There ar all different types of this disease and a lot of symptoms are not visible, difficult to deal with and the specialsts do'nt know eithere!! I pray that those people with aggressive disease can be helped
Great video!! I was diagnosed with MS in Feb 2010....so it's still new, frightening, and still somewhat hard to accept. My heart goes out to all my fellow MS'ers. It's a rough road to travel.
Diagnosed 12 August 1992. I may be slower, but still enjoyin life. I remember those first few days! Had to get rolling and research, talk to the MS Society, get all the info I could find. That's how I coped.
WOW tears in my eyes......goosebumbs all over my body.......I,am diagnosed with MS for 6 month,s.....It,s hard but keep fighting, try to enjoy all beautiful things in live ;)
@l3intj3 My dad has it either. BTW: I'M DUTCH! He got it all ready 34 year. And he's now 41 and i am 10. It's just terrible i can do almost nothing with my dad...
@palasmar unless you know someone with MS or have it, you don't understand. I watch my friend struggle daily with this, he refuses to give in to it and he is MY inspiration to keep going when my life looks bad. This has always been one of my all time favorite songs and this makes it that much more special! SUBSCRIBED so I never lose it!
@purplemyth2010 lol i do habe MS, and my EDSS is over 7. i was not criticizing the video itself, which i actually like and forward. i wrote about the unfortunate ad at the beginning of the video - i don't think any kind of ad fits here.
Awesome, and U2 was and is Great.......Very Moving.......going on 13 years and ready to be Liberated.....Thanks for CCSVI, if you are a canidate of course.
ceci n 'est vraiment pas la réalité !!!! de la sep ,chaque jour est une difficulté personne nous facilite la vie et la maladie ne nous excuse de rien !
thank you for uploading this. My mother died of MS when I was eight and not a day ever goes by that I don't miss her terribly. This was very powerful and motivating thank you.
it's been 9 years since my DX . . . and I find this truly powerful and inspiring. Made me get a little vklempt. Thanks U2, for the use of your song for this!
I've always been a fan of U2, but this song gives me the strength and courage that I need. I have since 2006 Multiple sclerosis. I've seen U2 twice live in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) - and I am looking forward to next concert with them. THANK YOU U2!
it's a disease of the neurological system that causes it to basically destroy itself. the myelin that surrounds and protects your nerves gets destroyed by an overactive immune system and causes mixed/halting signals to the brain. symptoms like numbness, foot drop, optic neuritis, pain, difficulty using your arms or legs, or a host of other symptoms, like sexual dysfunction. there is no known cure, only medications that try to slow the progression of the disease.
