  • I would have mentioned The Sundays, with regards to Karen's voice. Absolutely not Elizabeth Fraser! Very nice to see an actual video of them air-guitaring their music, at least. Wish they'd go back to electric and drums, though.

  • Have loved the Innocence Mission since their first album. Here they look like like a very hip Amish couple. :-)

  • First time I've ever thought of checking out IM here on YT and having a ball! Only ever heard the music before. Great to see them in action, as 'twere!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • cocteau twins??!! Huh?

    I love the innocence mission

    I love the cocteau twins.

    But they are NOTHING alike.

    huh?

  • Shhh...must be all very very quiet. No...speaking above a hush. Shhhh..To loud. To loud!!

Seriously I love these guys so much and one of my favorite bands ever.

They just kind of remind me of watching that Bob Ross painting show. Remember that...He was so quiet too...shhhh...No loudness.

    :)

    I.M. Forever!!!

  • @Arkanix They ARE quiet! My God! Lol!

  • Oh Dave K - what a wankster

  • If you look up "wanker" in my dictionary, there's a picture of Mr. Kendall. OK, I admit I was the one who pasted it in there, but it's a useful reference never the less.

  • I love the "Black Sheep Wall"video--WHY isn't there one for "Wonder of Birds"?

  • Wow, I never saw this video till now. I didn't know the innocence mission made videos for their debut album. What I always loved and still love about the innocence mission is that they always maintain their integrity and their modesty. That's why their music is still beautiful to this day. I saw them play once in New York, and they were absolutely lovely, such real people and serious musicians. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • I think I remember seeing this interview and video when it first aired in 1989 or thereabouts. It's still cool almost 20 years later.

  • Oh i'm right there with you, I was in 7th or eighth grade and it reminds me of so many other things that seemed so new then....

  • dave kendall

i loved 120 minutes. it was "my show" for "my music" at the bowels of MTV, what was it, near midnite on Sundays?!

  • yes do you have the wonder of birds video if so put it on i have been a fan since 1989 also i have all their albums 'we walk in song' I LOVE THIS FROM CHRIS OR HALDIR515@

  • I have been a fan of TIM since 1989, but have never seen the Black Sheep Wall video until this evening. You are a star for posting this! Made my evening!

  • Thank you! Glad to make things available. No point in just letting the videotapes sit on a shelf gathering dust when I could share them with other folks and, as you said, make their evening.
