Of course, no-one bothers with the books because they think they know all there is to know about the story from the film and they already hate it. Their characters in the films are so different from the books, I really HAVE to drive that point home because everyone seems to have forgotten what Edward is like "really" if you will. It just really annoys me this thing. Everyone hates Edward for a no good reason because of those crappy films.

See now, I partly agree with you. But I have to admit that when I was first reading Twilight, the Edward I imagined was halfway between Ville Valo and Edward Scissorhands. And from what I've seen of Ville in interviews, he does seem like the Edward I imagine. So, I do have to conclude that they are, at least, somewhat alike.

I don't like how you describe Edward as a "pussy" vampire though, because that's just not true.

He cannot simply be associated with vampires, nor with phantoms, nor with hot topic, nor with religion or the lack thereof.
