loved it...bet u had alot of people watchin u both acttualy doing the fight sequence lol..the last blooper kick was priceless " thats not a good kick to get hit by haha!
Damn, there's no control in your eyes, I can't believe this poster can't tell the difference between a kick to the ribs and a kick to the nuts...ouch...in high definition too.
It's very noticeable whenever I start adjusting the aperture, usually to decrease the light coming in which is big when shooting outdoors, so I'm going to experiment by getting a couple ND filters for my 35mm lenses so that I can lessen the amount of light entering the lens without actually adjusting the aperture much and risk seeing more of the vignette.
The other way I got around vignetting was by zooming into our focusing screen more; I'm not sure if that's possible with your Letus adapter.
Yeah, I have a marker on my camera for when it has zoomed enough to avoid vignette now. There will be more stuff I will post on the board showing improvements; it's all just in postpro right now. We do sometimes take advantage of the vignetting though.
Yo Jon! Hey, I just shot with my DIY adapter for the DVX and I wanted to look back on this video and drop a tip that you might find useful to avoid vignetting. I noticed some not-so-pretty vignetting when we shot, and there's a little in this short (but not much compared to ours I think) and I noticed that it varies alot with the lens focal length and especially in our case, with the particular lens.
Hey, awesome! Nice to see there's East Coast groups doing it now, I feel like all the other YouTube martial arts videos are from people in California.
Hahaha, we're trying to keep up. I keep into contact with a pretty decent number of guys from Cali though, and for the most part, I have been coached through this sort of thing by them and folks elsewhere over the years.
LOL! very nice! and i do hate it when i'm walking in the park, talking on my cell and a dude just comes out of nowhere to jump kick me....
