  • Lovely!

  • @coralcadfish Thank you, Coral!

  • OMFG :O AMAZING ! :D

  • @SoeurAshford Glad you liked it!

  • OMG OMG OMG !!! this is soo good <3 love it

  • @ikbendorien That's great!

  • how long does it take you to memorize that? haha

  • @Xxrockerchic229xX Well, I used some rough notes I made from the soundtrack as an 'aide memoire', but it took me about two hours to decide what to play and practise it.

  • @PSearPianist wow it would take me like two days.. straight haha. you're very talented and you should make a tutorial :D

  • It would be better if it were a little more timely. Ok though x

  • @Suko24601 Do you mean faster, slower......?

  • @PSearPianist In time, i mean. There are some uncalled for out of time breaks in the flow.

  • This music should have been in the opening credits of the film, however, it wasn't. f**k Disney! Tim Burton, nor Danny Elfman were allowed to have an opening score, nor scene.

  • @cutegirl00179 That's indeed a shame!

  • =) you have a wounderful talent...this made me happy

  • @awsomebleachfan Thank you - making people happy is what life's about!

  • WOW!! AMAZING!!

  • @Salsku123 I'm glad you liked it!

  • @PSearPianist how many years you are training that?

  • @Salsku123 I have played piano for more than 45 years!

  • @PSearPianist okay... :D

  • wunderful ^^

  • @MrsAlrighty Thank you!

  • Don't listen to anything negative people say. This sounds so amazing, it truly made my day and made my spirit soar. It sounds perfect!

  • @darksunshinesque Thank you - I really appreciate your support!

  • fucking amazing

  • @sashatomashevsky Thanks for that.

  • some wrong chords and it is not lively enough.

  • @whauk Well, it was carefully checked with the soundtrack, and I don't think it is far off.

  • @PSearPianist

for example 0:48 should be Dmaj (while you play d and b with right)

and 0:55 should be Cmaj with left (i think you played an Amin but i am not sure)

and 1:27 should be Cmaj Dmaj7 and Fmaj (you play one of them wrong not sure which one)

and 1:45 is just played really boring... there should be a staccato and forte (maybe octavas in the right)

oh to say something positive: i like your left hand (how you split up the chords) and 1:57 is perfect.

  • @whauk Well, I did the best I could at the time - as I said to another commentator, maybe I inadvertently used a little artistic license!

  • rhythm, rhythm's off a bit. Other than that, it's great. Better than what I could do.

  • @KinyoobiYoru Just a little artistic license!

  • A W E S O M E

  • @jackcooper94 Thank you - and sorry for not responding sooner!

  • If somebody knows how can i get the published music of this song for children choir?

  • Wow, this is absolutely my favorite piece in the entire soundtrack and you did a superb job! AWESOME

  • @elfmanfan10 Thank you very much - I'm glad you liked it!

  • Comment removed

  • Wauw..

    Amazing.

  • @MoveAndFeel That's kind - thank you!

  • this is the most beatiful song that I ever hears before, created by Danny Elfman. I'm a great fan of his work

I would like to go stud cinema to learn to be director, producer or an actor, but, defently, i want to be a musician just like him.

  • @jpsilvas12 Well, follow your dream!

  • Simply amazing! To think that you did this by ear :O..incredible

  • @AzureNight11 Thanks for that. I did make some rough notes to help me though!

  • btw, please could you tell my what key you played this in? Your hands are moving too incredibly fast for me to see!!

    Thanks :)

  • @gabbybella123 I play this in A minor - which is the same key as on the soundtrack.

  • @PSearPianist ---- no wonder I love this so much... A minor is my favourite key.....just something.....mysterious about it. Wonderful arrangement!

  • @Broadica Me too!

  • :O i need to learn this!!!!

  • wow

  • @MrGoku192 Thank you!

  • that's great !

  • @TalitaGoodCharlotte Thank you!

  • can you plleeasssee make a tutorial? I'm begging ):

  • @mmmcr00 I would love to be able to help but I never wrote down what I played and would not be able to repeat this performance. I believe that you can now buy a book with the songs and themes from the film arranged for piano.

  • @PSearPianist Where can I find the score? Have you published the PDF of this song? I need it absolutely! You're great!!!

  • @Piano86Men Thank you. As I mentioned in my reply to mmmcr00, I never wrote down what I played, which I did by ear, using the sountrack recording. If I were to write it down, I'm sure I would never get any copyright-holder's permission to do anything with it!

  • that was so great!! I noticed you used the far left peddle. What exactly is it for? I've always wondered that, all it seems to do is move the keys and dull the sound a bit.

  • @mynameisFirefly Thank you. That is exactly what the left pedal does. It moves the keys along so the hammers hit two strings instead of three. I try to avoid using it too much, but my piano is quite bright, so it is useful for sudden pianissimo passages.

  • Amazing!!! I'm so glad I found this!!!!

  • @Aerogirl160 Thank you!

  • pure inspiration!

  • @Sophia90272 Thank you!

  • I actually sang along to that! it was perfect I was just a little dissapointed it was over:( haha great job mate!

  • @YenusV Thank you. It was hard work doing the arrangement, which is why I had to restrict my version to the opening!

  • Outstanding skills you have to capture the same thrill, chill and inspiring feel of this song down to its chorus line they sing.

Hats off to you for your talent and fine skills PSearPianist, Danny Elfman would be proud to applaud your work here. *nods*

  • @oneoneword I really appreciate your most kind comment!

  • it´s incredible!! i love THIS song!!

  • @nachiguaka Thank you - that's really kind.

  • would this be hard to play???????????

  • @Fatsnail13 I played by ear, so it is difficult to say how hard it would be for anyone else!

  • @PSearPianist Oh thanks.

  • please make a tutorial :)

my schools show choir is doing this song as their opener

  • @thescream22 Alas I can't do that, as I have forgotten what I played and don't have the facilities to make tutorials. However, I believe there is now a published piano/vocal book with the music from the movie that you can buy, and I hope that will be helpful. Otherwise, try playing it 'by ear' from the soundtrack, which is what I did.

  • Very good! I loved it from start till ending! =)

  • @CocahColah That's very kind - at least it is quite short!

  • amazing version!!!

  • @NlhlL Thank you!

  • This is brilliant. standing ovation(: haha and... 4 ppl have some major mental issues... straight jackets galour. ANYWAYYYY!!!! simply beautiful(:

  • @ClaireBear2852 Thanks for your most kind comment!

  • U R AMAZING THUMBS UP IF U AGREE

  • @eMiLy1677 That is very kind!

  • Wooow you are simply amazing! There are no words to describe!

  • @AlexLaHot But I shall use words to reply to your kind comment. Thanks very much!

  • that was truely amazing. i would rather have this on my ipod than the original :)

  • @XxXxXhorseLoverXxXxX That's very kind. You can extract an MP3 from the video (there are various ways to do that).

  • you might be able to keep the rhythm going if you played it slower

  • @AlexRider001 I played at the speed I recalled from hearing the OST.

  • @PSearPianist i know its the right speed

i was just saying maybe you should have played it slower - because you keep pushing in pauses in between

still a really nice cover though

  • 4 people were obviously born without the ability to recognize talent.

    This is fantastic!

  • @Mgrulz818 Thanks very much. I have no complaints about the thumbs down, as musical tastes vary so much. I dislike most 'urban' pop music and if I were to watch a video of it I might do the same!

  • Omg! I love it :D great job :)

  • @g0l333m Thank you for that!

  • Are you willing to share sheets? I liked your version of it. I tried to do it myself but Im not much for arranging and I dont have very much time these days.

  • @SteveSasuke Thanks for your comment. I never wrote my version out, and only used a scribbled transcription of the tune to work from. I believe that there is now a book available to buy of music from the movie, although I have not seen it myself.

  • I've never liked Alice in Wonderland...

I hated the cartoon version when I was little, I tried to read the book once but never finnished it, & most of my friends agreed with me whenI told them that I thought this years movie was... odd to say the least. But I think this video has changed some of my opinions about Alice in Wonderland.

  • @EinaudiRulez Thank you for your interesting comment!

  • There should be three options for liking it: "Like", "Love" and "OMG!". OMG! I frickin' love it all the way.

  • @lonelyinthisworld Thank you for your kind and original comment!

  • OH MY GOD THANK YOU!!! I've been looking for ages for this music! But I've been playing piano for only about 7 years now, so I'm not the best, so this will be quite a challenge! And if I may just offer a suggestion? I noticed that when you had to do large movements around the keyboard, you lifted the sustain pedal, therefore giving it a disconnecting sound, maybe when you have to move octaves, try keeping the pedal down until you hit the first note on the other octave?

  • @Pauldasafetyfirstguy Thank you. I think maybe I was looking to produce a disconnected sound in the places you refer to.

  • @PSearPianist I of course can't alter your intentions, but you are amazing non-the-less! :D

  • i challenge you to make a tutorial. i think if youve played it once by ear, then you can play it again. and as you go thru, just like make notes, break it into sections and stuff. i learned songs like bella's lullaby and parts of a river flows thru you and i could make tutorials of them. i know this is a song of higher calibur, but i challenge you, i think you can do it if you try

  • großartig,

please write down for hundreds of youngsters and me!

  • @broadwood1830 Thank you - but I wouldnt know how to do that!

  • if you dont mind me asking where did you get the sheet music for this? i want to play it for my brother who LOVES this song. so would you tell me where to find it please? it would really be appreciated you play very well btw

  • @48candycane Thank you for your kind comment. It is actually my own (unwritten) arrangement, which I would never be able to play again. I believe that the Alice music has now been published in a piano album, so you may well be able to buy a version of this.

  • @PSearPianist ok thank you very very much

  • I wish someone close to me knew how to play the piano as good as you.. I would make them play for me every night before I go to sleep :D

  • @adriXXfml00 Thank you very much! I hope you find someone who can do just that!

  • you are so AMAZING i play piano but not as well as this bravo

  • @48candycane Thank you! I have been playing for a long time, so I should be a reasonable player by now.

  • Oh my god! Very good! Oh, if i coul play the piano...but i cant :) I´m jealous!! Wonderful, one of the best Variations ive seen!<3

  • @EannaDawn Thank you! Of course it is never too late to learn piano....

  • ow ! please may I have the partition n_n

    it's so good

  • @gagar13 Thanks! I don't have a partition, as I never wrote down what I played. However, I believe that a book of music from the movie has now been published.

  • Well, now, that was epic!

  • @marcusrodrigues1 Thanks very much!

  • wow you are amazing, do you have any idea where I could get some notes for this because I would love to learn to play this, all I can say is wow, you are incredible and keep doing what you're doing! ( : love it

  • @musicrazed825 Thanks for your kind comment. I should imagine that a book of music from the movie has been published by now. My own arrangement was done by ear and not written down except as very rough notes.

  • @PSearPianist ok well I think I will be going to Volkweins next weekend to look for it and hopefully well most definitely they will! ( : thanks

  • @PSearPianist You're welcome and I will be going to Volkweins next weekend and I think they will have the book which I will definitely buy! Thanks I enjoy listening to this music very much! :D

  • O.o, i'm speechless

  • @AtjePattatje I hope that means you liked it!

  • @EricaYeowza Thank you Erica. I could never make a tutorial, because I could never remember what I played!

  • @PSearPianist aw you should really try! i have to wait like 9 days for the stupid score book :L:L and your is waaaay better

  • I so love this music, you are really talented, hats off!

  • @mybiggestdream123 Thanks for your kind comment!

  • Aww man I would have loved to bar the notes lad!

  • Would you please message me the notes or something I can't really read sheet music.

  • @CustomToyPainter Alas, I more or less played this arrangement 'by ear' and never wrote what I played down!

  • Wow! you just took my breath away! it's amazing! =)

  • @johnnydshooot That's really kind!

  • Wonderful!!

    Congratulations!

  • @WhiteQueenMiranda Thank you! I would imagine from your username that you must be an Alice fan.

  • Wonderful!Congratulations!!

  • What grade piano is this music?

  • @xxDownAndOutxx Difficult to tell, since it is not written down. I would imagine that a published version might be grade 6 (UK gradings).

  • This is so wonderful, marvelous! Bravo!

  • @TheMsKateMCS Thanks very much!

  • @trustXXXno1 Thank you. I do not have the equipment or knowhow to do tutorials, and I can no longer remember exactly what I played to make this video!

  • genialistisch

    :D

  • @krabbylein Thank you!

  • AWESOME! i love Alice in Wonderland! really well done! ...btw have you heard of Ludovico Einaudi? he´s my favorite! check him out! :D

  • @MissZoey007 Thanks! I have indeed heard of Einaudi, and have put several videos of me playing some of his pieces on this channel.

  • Wow I can't get over how amazing this is! lol ;D

  • @MassacreGaming711 Thank you!

  • @GwWoYA Thank you!

  • absolutely incredible! 5/5

  • @MassacreGaming711 Thank you very much!

  • This is beautiful! And fantastic playing -- listening to the actual theme, it's exact and played with great emotion!

  • @sweeneytoddluvver12 That's very kind. I checked the notes to the soundtrack as closely as I could (although I never wrote them all down!).

  • beautiful~!

  • @hyun0322 Thank you!

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!
