i've had the great joy of seeing Joe now three times, he's incredible..saw him the first time when he opened for my hero of a long time, Steve Earle, back in the summer of 2009...down in TX....a wonderful young singer.....he's going to be around a long, time...

This isn't one of the Joe Pug songs everybody talks about, but it has really grown on me. How he makes such a deep self examination so honest while still sounding so beautiful is beyond me. Few folks have a heart as brave as this guy's is, that IS sure. (Sorry if this posts twice.)
