would it be good if you just use a clarifying shampoo and then just do a deep conditioning to restore moisture

@soccerqueen181 Yes, it would be good as long as that is what your hair needs. I noticed with my hair that after doing this "treatment" and just using a deep-conditioning treatment, it wasn't enough moisture for my hair. The next time, I did this technique, I followed it with a moisturizing conditioner, and then the deep-conditioning treatment and had better results with my hair (more moisture)! So I say experiment with your hair and see what it likes.
