personally i thought the Henderson decision was bullshit . he fought well but Franklin won that fight . also , i thought he should have been DQ'd for the headbutt and eye poke . ( the eyepoke WAS on purpose cuz Henderson wanted a breather to regain energy . and that was bullshit that Franklin didn't get Five for the poke . it wasn't a small poke , u could clearly see henderson's whole damn finger , knuckle and all , go straight into Rich's eye ).

I can't give applause to Coleman or Rua. Rua should have been able to deliver more hits to Coleman's head while his hands were down. Coleman could do very little ground and pound, which is what he is known for, even though he had RUA down like 4 or 5 times. It felt like I was watching 2 old timers fighting, each one trying to wait for the other to gas out. Its Frustrating!

I didn't disagree with any of the decisions but yesterday was very frusterating. Many missed oppurtunities. Franklin, Coleman and Lytle could have done more and won their fights.

Franklin did win, as did Lytle and I don't think there is any room for debate on that. Although I do respect your opinions (all of you). Coleman could have done more to win the fight but he was not the one who had every opportunity to knock the other guy out, that was Shogun. Omoplata, endless striking possibilites and a huge fire under his ass, and he did JACK SHIT.

I honestly don't believe Lytle won. He threw more shots but Davis connected more (even if he threw less shots). Remember, Davis even dropped Lytle at one point. I love BOTH of these guys so this opinion is completely unbiased.

As for Franklin, he WAS the better fighter in that matchup but takedowns and top position are the biggest factors in UFC judging these days. Franklin has never been a knockout artist. His fights are slow, steady and effective. Henderson knew this and his whole game was overhand rights, takedowns and top position (lay and pray). It sucks but it worked. The sad news for Henderson is that this method will not work with the top dogs of the UFC LHW division. I don't ever see him as a title holder.

BTW, I will be in attendance for the fight this weekend in Ireland. Going to watch my buddy Alan Belcher beat Denis Kang. In the interest of full disclosure, Josh! Will be my 2nd event, went to UFC 81 at Mandalay Bay to watch Alan take on Ricardo Almeida. Too bad that one didn't happen, classic striker vs grappler, but Alan got bronchitis the week before the fight. CHANGE YOUR PICK!!! Alan's going to win via KO in the 2nd!!!

The Belcher vs Kang fight was a very tough call. Alan really impressed me against Ed Herman but I kept wanting him to just finish it. He had Ed on the ropes the whole night. If Belcher can show some killer instinct, he has a good chance against the UFC rookie.

THIS IS HOW ANDERSON SILVA STARTED! By the way, Red Schafer is HIGHLY underrated at 205, his BJJ is off the charts. The Davis/Lytle fight was a draw, the reason Davis won was because it was in Ireland. Trust me on that. Also, the Hendo/Franklin fight was 29-28 Hendo,the judge who had it 30-27 Franklin must be Josh!

Alan set him up on that Guillotine, don't have enough space to explain it here, but he almost had the same guillotine in the first, and he baited him into it in the second. Kang was definitely winning the fight, he is a great fighter and will be JUST FINE in the UFC.

Also, seeing the damage post-fight, although Kang was much busier and landed more, Belcher's shots did much more damage. It looked like Kang's nose was broken.

What I meant by that was, if I stuck my head out like a jackass and you choked me then of course you win the fight. But it wasn't like Belcher did anything but take advantage of an opportunity, and yes that is how a lot of fights are won, but I still see it as Kang beating himself more than anything. That might be an odd concept but it makes sense to me. So good for Belcher and hopefully Denis will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.

I got all the same picks as you boys except Davis. I see Lytle pushing the pace landing the bigger punches and winning with the takedowns. Davis is a good fighter but ment to be fighting the newcomers in the UFC and showing them the ropes. Lytle is just one notch above his. I like that Zoom in on Franklins nutz funny as hell. Matt was a little bold with the KO pick. Jared and I took Davis via TKO. We think (since this is supposed to be stand-up only) Davis has the better chance to get the ref to stop the fight (TKO). Davis used to be a boxer and Lytle (as much as we love him) wins most his fights via submission. He is a tough dude. Our picks are definately risky.
