  • great battle, deserved victory

  • not impressed.

  • That's why I hate Bourdais, he pulls shit moves like that and damages other cars, and yet he complains when anyone blocks or hits him? Suck it up bitch.

  • fake french twat!!!!!!! Who was shite in f1!!

  • 7:38 to see the best move!

  • Good move, Sebastien... Nothing unfair in that move.

  • for this move in f1 you'll get a penalty :D

  • @AsiChicky Clearly people have forgotten all the spectacular action and close races of recent f1, particularly the 07/08 seasons. It's better than this stuff.

  • great cars at a great circuit. Wish Champ Car never called it quits.

  • Recall of watching this live - this was probably the last full ChampCar race I watched live also, as I hadn't much time for this on 2007. Anyway, great race.

  • I remember watching this on TV. One of the best race-ending ever (at least for ow racing).

  • I did too..watcing videos like this is depressing.....as someone who is trying to follow the "merged" IRL and attending/watching their races now, I know in my heart how crap the current IRL cars sound, look, and perform compared to the CC's.

  • cheating french basterd

  • @hazzamfc22 it was a perfect overtake!!!

  • This is real racing!! Go Justin!! I will take this over F1 any day of the week.

  • @minonkracer You mean that sport that Bourdais eventually graduated to? It's faster, more entertaining, and with better drivers. Much better than what this was.

  • I'm having some Mcdonalds tomorrow.

  • thanks for posting this, good battle

  • epic finish

  • Unbelievable pass...and of course a fair one.

  • Thats what I call a pass.

  • The Lola looks soooooo much better than the DP-01.

  • No way, DP-01 is much better looking! Lola's too boxy.

  • I must disagree the DP-01 looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much like an F1 car, the Lola is what an American Open Wheel (Indy) car should look like.

  • Ha ha, that's why I like it! ^_^ =b

  • true man!!! lola was the type of car that made the series different from others!!! I miss Champ Car!!!

  • @DavidSkywalker01 It's all just a copy of f1 aerodynamics wise anyway.

  • @DavidSkywalker01 If it looks like an F1 as you say, it must be good. They are the best looking open wheel racers.

  • Lola Racing Cars (also Lola Cars International) is a racing car engineering company founded in 1961 by Eric Broadley and based in Huntingdon, England. Lola started by building small front-engined sports cars, and branched out into Formula Junior cars before diversifying into one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of racing cars in the world.

  • pendemic u can suck my cock bitch!

  • @epyon144 He's correct however. F1 is the pinnacle, a step above this.

  • One of the best auto racing finishes of the year.

That was a Mansell-like performance by Wilson. Not many drivers could have lasted that long against Bourdais after breaking a scaphoid bone.

  • Agreed about Wison being a fighter, driving with a brken scaphoid. He's also very tall for a Formula driver and I imagine he is usually pretty cramped in these cars. Great driver all around. If he wants fame he should get after a big sponsor and head for Nascar. Nascar's not my thing but seems to be where the glory is in the states these days.

  • Bourdais demostrará su pontencial en F1 el próximo campeón mundial

  • I'm not a big fan of Bourdais but that was a great move. No question.

  • great pass I also think it´s fair... I mean wasn´t it great if we saw this kind of passes much more times in the motor sports....

  • Fair pass, Wilson wasn't even pushed on the grass. Completely fair.

  • two bad races in a row.

  • for bourdais i mean

  • Great Champ car race! What a battle and pass at the end. If they had been IRL cars and banged wheels like that Wilson woulda flipped over on his head (like Marco at Mid-Ohio.)

  • Bourdais is one of the best driver in the world, in ChampCar he beats every drivers. I think in 2 or 3 years he will be F1 world champion.

  • No. Just seriously. He's a dirty driver as you can see from this video. Right when he gets into F1 it's going to knock him off his feet when he see's who he's up against. F1 is nothing like Champ car.

  • Maybe F1 is nothing like Champcar but if you read his titles:1997:French Formula Renault:2nd 1999:French Formula3:Champion 2002:World formula3000:Champion Test with Renaultin the end he was faster than ALONSO,Renault choice Montagny because management contract with f.briatore 2003:ChampCar Rookie of the year 2004-2007:Champion RECORD I think we could compaire Bourdais to Alonso,Raikkonen when he found a good team I hope in 2-3 years I'm probably not objective but it's my opinion

  • A dirty driver can't take the 4th place 3 laps before the end of the race with a Toro Rosso...

  • bourdais rules

  • poor standard of driving.

  • If i was wilson, i would have given Bourdais the finger after the race during the warm down laps. WAT A DIRTY PASS.

  • it was okey... wilson could have leave him pass and attack on the next corner... the position there was lost..

  • los buenos pilotos estan en la formula uno esto no vale nada.....formula one is better this sucks

  • that is a muscle-pass. Dirty. If someone does that to me, I'd see to it they dont finish the race.

  • Wilson put up a helluva fight for a guy with a broken wrist. What a send of for the Lola.

  • boudais is a little dirty on that move but in the interview wilson say " bourdais pasme well"

    thanks for uplod this video

  • Asi se debe rebasar Bourdais El Mejor

  • Wow that was amazing how Bourdais hopped the curb to get inside and didn't spin.

  • It doesn't matter if the pass was legit or not, Wilson missed the chicane.

  • In my opinion it was a legit pass. Bourdais was up side by side early and Wilson should have given him more room, then contact wouldn't been made. Althought I agree with aviazn, of course you can't judge at the contact point.

  • GO FRENCH BOY!!! BOURDAIS TO F1!!

  • It was an exciting pass. Legit or not, it was exciting. Let's leave it at that. ;)

  • Legit pass, it was tough but legit. Bourdais had his nose already in front before he hit the apex. Great move starting from the esses.

  • I don't think it's a legit pass at all. When they turn in, Bourdais doesn't even have his fronts in front of Wilson's rears. You make the judgment from the point of turn in, not the point of contact. When you turn in, you've committed yourself to the corner, and if someone trying to pass you isn't even alongside you at that point, he has no claim to the road inside of you.

  • Excelente, gracias por compartir el video para poder tenerlo grabado. Lo puedo ver una y otra vez.

    Es el campeón!!

  • Kind of Tracy's pass, but in clever ;)

Wish Champ car continue to show that kind of actions, we're not on F1 ;)

  • Bourdais es la mera vena !!!

  • Legit pass, no question. By the time contact was made, Bourdais' nose was ahead of Wilson's, so if he didn't want contact, it was up to Wilson to give Bourdais more room.

  • Wilson gave Bourdais plenty of room, Bourdais slid into him, he had no control over the rear because he went in too deep. The move started actually ON turn in, the back end stepped out, and Wilson couldn't avoid it. It wasn't legit, it was avoidable on Bourdais' behalf, and he intruded upon Wilsons line, whcih means that he shouldn't have been in the clear.
