For the most part when you are seeing a video of a stingray giving birth on land or above their natural sea level it's because someone accidentally caught it and the stingray happened to be giving birth...When you catch a stingray and you realize it's about to give birth of course you're gonna want to film it...thus the videos of stingrays giving birth on land

The mother was caught and we used the pliers to remove the hook from her mouth. She did swim away with no problems.
