Very helpful video. Very simple to understand. I'm new to php and mysql and have watched many videos on how to correctly install phpmyadmin and I have to say this video was the best one. I had no trouble following along and had no problems. Keep the videos coming and thanks
I mean, omiting to tell that this will bring nothing unless they have changed they password for user ROOT first in mysql, or given new one won't help them. That's what i'm seeing on lot of tutorials - So they do exactly right but a password is still on asking..
When I type type into localhost and click on index.php, it just takes me to a bunch of sourcecode that looks like the file where you set a blowfish pass. What gives?
2.) when i put it into apache folder everthing loads up but when I click on the index.php or any other php file, it actually shows the code and not the page!! ANY HELP PLEASE? PLEASE REPLY ASAP
Thanks! I had PHP Apache, and MySQL already set up, but didn't know how to get phpMyAdmin configured. This video is greatly appreciated. For anyone who is just starting in PHP (like me), two great learning resources are:
If you have not seen the php installation video I created. I would recommend watching it first. If you have seen it already, then its possible you missed adding the mcrypt extension during the php installation.
@dguzman144 i have a question, i have watch you apache and phpmyadmin video... but as i view your video my webdev folder does not contain mysql and php, please help.

Everyone can just download Wamp Server!

@electronicsnow1 Thats true it would be much easier. The only downside is less control of your web server's configurations.
