Does any body know what flexion is??!! Come on now A half halt before each barrel will get you better times. and prevent the horse from taking the barrel to wide.

@ilovebarrelracing100 Actually you are supposed to check up your horse... in other words slow down. It's impossible to make it around the barrel going at full speed.

no offense ppl but i care if i'm good, some ppl have a reputation to uphold. i own a 3 time world champion barrel racer and she won nationals once. so her daughter is supposed to make her claim on barrel racing as well, if i can ever get her trained right

hahaha i use a hackamore on my mare. ive tried to use a bit so i can ask her more, but she just responds best to the hackamore.. its really awkward but she ran a 16.001 in it, so im happy:)

see now i personally love to rodeo and compete! so do my 2 girls i run..thats how u get really good! if ur just doing barrels for fun, cool, good for you, but u cant say ur actually a barrel racer until you have competed and u are inproving everytime..thats just my opinion on that..dont me to be rude or offend any one, just stating what i think..=D
