  • for those saying made in china.. you know these are Japanese right?

  • @TheManyTalents Almost all electronics are made in china.

  • Dude that chick sound like she's dying. Haha

  • thats what u called made in china

  • haha...crazy asians

  • thats why you dont buy asian made phones...

  • Ringing the phones wouldn't help, because they're receiving a signal from the cell tower not transmitting. A cell phone only uses a few hundred milli-watts of power, while a microwave oven uses around 1,000 watts of power, that's the difference between sending data or a hot pocket. It's the intensity of the waves not the frequency that cooks. Cell phones operate at around 900-1900 MHz. Bluetooth and microwave ovens operate in the 2.4 GHz band, but bluetooth can't make a roast beef sandwich.

  • @SysAdmin86851 Nerd

  • Oh nahh cuz the only resson that worked is cause there phones

Are distributed in wherever there from there for more radiation

  • @natalhyd it didnt "work" really because thats not possible. the video is edited to make it look like it works

  • Awesome it's real because the phones radioactivity is heating and poping the corn

    LOL

  • chuck norris can do this with his hands

  • stupid asians.

  • thats idiot....they used a super-powered-radiation phone...HAHAHAHAHA

  • Lies!!!! Just tried with 4 cell phones...BUNK!!!!

  • koooool

  • we've tried with 5 cellphones & it did'nt work,, so popping popcorn using cellphone radiation is not possible

  • if u dnt believe it jst try it ur sself then dnt say its fake cuz its nt!!!!!!!!!!!

  • maybe there was some heating mechanism under the table

  • This is totally fake this phone company used an special effects program, they did it to try and sell cellphone headsets. Its impossible and the company even admitted it was fake. There were just tryin to make money.

  • FAKE ! DONT BELEIVE ANY OF THESE VIDEOS........

  • i wander wat it tasted like?

    cat or dog?

  • @IROCK3I2 That's mean cause im asian. But funny! lol.

  • That girl was screaming bloody murder when it popped! Hahahaha!!!

  • That does not work. I have tried it with all my med. student in ower class. This does not work at all.

  • they reacted so funny

  • Put a microwave transmitter under the table and it works just fine....as long as you don't mind some stray radiation messing up your genes. :)

  • what if you put four phones around ur head and then call them?

    try that next..

  • @ChrisIsMafioso then your head becomes the popcorn kernel and explodes :P

  • why should it be fake, just because you haven't seen it with your own eyes, don't say it isn't possible. That you guys have tried it and failed doesn't prove it's impossible, but a success does prove that it's possible. And btw, radio waves and microwaves is just the same thing, only two different frequencies, and the fact that one of them works doesn't mean the other one doesn't.

  • @Snudrius4 You can't call this a success since all you can see here is a video and VIDEOS CAN BE FAKED.

  • @mike4ty4 Was I suggesting anything else? Of course videos can be faked, I have never said anything else (try me). All I'm saying is: if you can only believe those thing you have seen with your own eyes, you'll never be able to judge someone for a bank robbery, for example, because you weren't there yourself, you only have the video, and videos can be faked.

What I was saying is: a fail proves nothing but one fail, a success proves possibility. Whether this is possible is just to calculate.

  • @Snudrius4 However, a bank robbery is at least something that is physically possible, thus there is less reason to doubt the video. In this case, we're saying that a power source of extremely low wattage is somehow capable of having the same effect as a source of high wattage like a microwave oven. Hey! If this is right, then we should be able to make a super low power microwave oven!!!! Why don't we? Hmm. Maybe because it just ain't possible, eh?

  • @mike4ty4 Of course, the video of the robbery COULD still be fake too. But if the robbery is reported on in other media (like news, etc.) and there's records, and so on, then it seems very likely that it really did happen (either that, or there's a vast conspiracy to make it look that way, which would seem really *un*likely). In this case, all we have is videos, and we also have physics which tells us this just can't happen.

  • @Snudrius4 Because the video is not trustable (due to the just-mentioned physics problems), we don't know there's a success here, and have good reason to say there isn't.

  • iv seen 10 or more cell phones left on in the middle of a table and they left a big burn mark in middle of the table. so this must be true.

  • it´s fake I saw it on urban legents :)

  • @erikfardigh urban legends is discorvery channel bullshit, EVERYTHING ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL IS 100% FAKE

  • @yourvidisbad101 haha okay :P

  • @yourvidisbad101 Everything on Discovery Channel is 100% fake? You have some evidence to back that up?

  • fake i tryed it at skwl for an experiment are teacher showed us

  • I did try it, it didn't work.

  • IF YOU THINK ITS FAKE GO AND TRY IT

  • @rwickberg I have and it doesn't work

  • its fake because cellphone microwaves are to weak to fully pop popcorn, they heated it up previously and then it just poped, its not real, its fake

  • Cell phones don't use micro waves. Just radio waves.

Micro waves, even at low power and frequency would be lethal for any one to use.

However cell phone towers do use micro wave between them, but from cell to tower it is just a 3-5 watt radio. Not un-like a walki-talki.

  • this aint fuckin fake, ive tryed it, ir works, so to y'all fuckin loosers who thinks it's fake, FUCK Y'ALL!!!

  • that is so fucking fake

  • Fake and Gay

  • GodDamn Chinks!!!

  • Its called Final Cut Pro on MAC

    Special effects

  • Comment removed

  • THIS IS FAKE. the company that made this came out and said it was fake, and they just dropped popcorn from above

  • i think there like wika or somthing

  • Can you try with dogs or cats ????

  • This worries me, this worries me. Why? What's happening to our brain cells when we are using cell phones???

  • @kristmist you must know that this is fake, my science teacher told me, and the company admitted as well

  • I want to believe you.

  • @khisrow456 no its totally real watch this video they'll show you /watch?v=ZEl7QqoPH9c lmfao rofl

  • @khisrow456 no its totally real watch this video they'll show you /watch?v=ZEl7QqoPH9c lmfao rofl

  • i know there is microwave radiation in cell phones but we talked about it in science and they're not strong enough to do that theres something under the table heating it

  • witches

  • cellphones emit microwave radiation, anybody that actually paid attention in high school science should not really see this as a mystery/

  • actually we should since everyone who paid attention in high school science would also know that 4 cell phones dont have enough radiation to pop popcorn.

  • Fake cellphone popping is fake

  • Go frame by frame, guys. Just pause and unpause it right when the thing pops. You can see 2-5 frames where there is no kernel and no popcorn, just an empty space.

  • thats bullshit

  • Type "Youtube - Phone popcorn secrets revealed" on google and click the top result. It's a CNN story on the issue.

  • finally the truth!

    U NEED OLD PHONES>

  • yall r a bunch of idiots, its caused by radiation; radio waves traveling through the air

  • i saw him throw one up look at the kernals wwhen the one flys up none of them move

  • THEy used video trickery

  • That's doesn't even make any sense...

  • ITS FAKE I SAW IT ON URBAN LEGENDS

  • Not everything you see and hear is true dumbass.

  • haha you're a dumbass.

  • It's not fake results. Those were kids actually doing that. Microwaves effect the kernels at such high frequencies and so close that they explode into pieces of popcorn like the effects of a heated microwave oven. The heat assists with carrying the microwaves to the effected object, but it's not as intense as the waves the cell phones produce. Don't kid yourselves, this isn't a miracle - it's science. Or not. Whichever. ~_<

  • @xcosmicsoulx,You are nuts...if you think this is real. did you actually see anything pop? no. it came from below the camera. the kernels were still there. I just made a video myself. and i show you how i did it.

  • @tonycdrive well then have another look cos it sure as hell didnt came from underneath the table

  • @kvnnn11, I Just now checked it out on my editing software. And i can see it was done by computer animation added to real life footage. They only had to do it to two kernels. The camera panned away so no more animation had to be created.

  • @tonycdrive fuck head look again...in the beggining there were 6 kernels but after the popping they were only 4 left...so ur wrong srry

  • @balkazar666 ,Do You seriously believe it's real? I faked it with dead cell phones. without computer animation. and i show how i did it. you can find it on my channel.

  • @xcosmicsoulx ,You seriously believe it's real?

  • @xcosmicsoulx oh no, retard alert! retard alert!

This isnt science. Well, yea but not like you said it. Even with a microwave that makes about 700watt (co or more, it still takes some time before they pop.

And a cellphone makes about 2watt, and the radiation gets spread very fast.

  • gotta say true... my cell makes 3.8 watt normal and i can hacked it up only to 4Watt so it would take 100 cell phones and 15 minutes to pop ANY popcorn...

my cell sucks or this is fake.

  • thats bullshit really

  • uh wtf and how would a magnet pop popcorn????

  • magnet?

  • cool

  • i never use cell again (o,O)

  • its fake XD lol.. u can't pop popcorn with cellphones. And there has been made million dollars worth of scientific studies of cellphones and the negative effect on the brain. and none have proven that it harms u so u can use ure cellphone no problem!

The waves that cellphones transmits, are simply to ''big'' to affect any parts of ure brain

  • the inside of the microwave is under the table

  • the girl sounds like she was being raped

  • thats why all those people who text are so stupid

  • Oh yes, darling,

  • the white phone is a fake phone and you can buy it online. it is what makes the pop corn pop

  • bando de japa burro!!!

    querem enganar quem? huahuahuha

    bando de troxa!

  • This is logically, impossible.

It takes a microwave to pop popcorn at 1 minute, and a microwave emmits 1 kilowatt an hour.

A cell phone emits 0.1 kilowatt an hour.

    YOU do the math.

  • smart arsee!!! :)

  • true dat

  • @Marshmallowness if u dnt believe it then do it urself dnt say its fake when its nt!!!!!

  • @Marshmallowness but they have super powered Japanese cell phones

  • @Marshmallowness :DD Of course it is possible if you disassembled the microvawe oven and put the magnetron under the wooden table :) ... that's how they did it ... The microwaves pass through the wood and heat up the water atoms in the popcorn.. see how they covered the table so that nothing is visible.. :)

  • @klykas they covered the table cause its a tatami dumbass

a tatami is for the winter you put your feet under it and you can watch TV and eat

  • @chocoholic77cw what is wrong with u its Xmas soon! cheer up amigo! I did not get the idea, that you have to put your feet under tatami in order to watch the TV and eat :DD you are funny!! lol

  • @Marshmallowness use ten!

  • this was an advert to show that mobile phones microwave your brains LOL.

    sux that its not real

  • i would fry every ones brain

  • wave interference doesn't work like this lol!

either way it was a cool hoax :D

  • LMAO

    nice.

and for all you commentors: don't question-- just accept(so says the governments >=D)

  • the news said this is fake

  • ☻/

    /▌

    / \

  • Wtf? I've seen this fucker like 12 times already!

  • same here

  • maybe if u used 4 of the original cell phones it would work

  • what the fuck are they saying?

    .....LMAO

  • ☻/

  • mdr, j'arrive pas a le faire moi sa marche pas..

  • it actually does work!!!!!

  • It doesn't worked, I've tried.

  • ...souped up

  • they don't show the camera showing the seeds

  • this is dumb they just have a magnetron frm a microwave under the. table plz check out my vids

  • no it realt does work so shut up

  • NO IT DOESNT!go to other people who believ me!grrrr its so dumb its immpossible and plus you can really see someone throwin a popcorn and then more so hooBLAH!

  • Your Incorrect. The Phones ARE The Magnetron Microwave. And I Accidently Put Thumbs Up Comment To You.

  • Comment removed

  • there's a "table cloth" because its winter (im assuming) so they have a heater under the table to keep warm...its called a kotatsu

  • don't you think its strange or odd they all have two cell phones, its a hoax. whats under the table?

  • why would all four of them be sitting around a table with a table cloth covering their legs, maybe something under the table i wonder

  • mannnnnnnnnn

    does this actually work??!

i tried it today with my family but nothing happened.

lol what did i do wrong?

    hhaha

  • no somebody throws it up.

  • Is that possible?! Has anyone tried what they did?!?!

  • OMG its POPCORN!!!

i have never scene POPCORN B4!!!

  • oh, thats why it worked, they're jap fones=D like ours but twice the radiation! (too bad its fake=(

  • They can pop corn with their toyota too

  • asians are the one who can do it!!!!

  • lol asians

  • lol @ lol asians

  • magneto

    under

    the

    table.

  • the chick screameddd so loud jeez

  • Comment removed

  • well judging by the phone's microwaves it is a ratio of 1:100 likely. I tested this with many types of phones and the vibrations or microwaves were not powerful enough to pop the corn. All laws of science say its not physically possible!

  • this is acually a commercial for blackberry phones, if u dont believe me go to the pbs website and watch the vid for it

  • We were told that its possible for it to happen.. they say using a cell phone is like putting your brain in a microwave

  • image what it does to our brain.....

  • popcorn?

  • it's not fake WTF me & my friends tried it!

  • hahahaaaaa XD sooo fake.

  • no, it totally works, my friend did it

  • wtf fakeee

  • fAKE

  • Everyone knows it is fake. It is just funny to watch.
