-blue stickered slider thing sitting on the laptop: tascam (model no.?) midi controller

-big dark knob and slider thing: mackie analog mixer

-software: a custom-made MAX/MSP patch that plays up to 8 loops simultaneously and has crazy built-in effects. i think it only runs in OS 9
