It doesn't matter. Some bands can make songs with videos that aren't self-centric. The fact you as a fan want a band-centric video is worse. This idea has nothing remotely revolutionary or original about it, so why bother making it? All it is for is for is fanboys to idolise how the band looks, which does not even matter.

I think Raine Maida is fucking brilliant. But the video idea is pretty good. I think that if they would have made a video, it would look similar to this description.

I'm a huge OLP fan, and you know if you listen to some of their newer stuff without listening to the anti-conformist conformists who judge all mainstream as bad, you can see some good in the new work. Gravity was a great album, of course it sucked compared to happiness, naveed, spiritual, and clumsy (in that order), but it had a few great songs on it. maybe youll hate me for saying, but whatever. I'm not afraid to admit i like innocent and somewhere out there and All for You

oh oh oh..i was planning on making a video for this song, i might upload it if i can get ahold of props, and a boy to do it with me.... it starts of girl talking to boy and she's just trying to impress him, but he checks out a girly girl instead, then she tries to be like her then he rejects her and when its the "i hate myself" part she is in a bathroom stall crying, then she tries to go all boxer and when the "dont wanna be a puppet" first comes on she's about to get punched...cont.

but for the chorus it is the girl with strings attached and acting like a puppet and then the "i hate myself" part she is like lying on the floor black eye saying it" then after that when its the bridge, it flashes from trying to get his attention in the hall to holding a picture and crying, and then at the last "i hate myself" part she is screaming it right to his face this time no makeup...blue jeans, and a t-shirt and she storms off but he grabbs her wrist and pulls her back and kisses her.
